We stayed at Phumelelo in February of this year. The rooms are large and clean. Service is very good, all employees of the lodge are professional and friendly. The food is very good. Only downside is that we weren't able to self drive in the reserve and we were charged for a game drive for 4 people even though we were the only 2 people staying at the lodge at the time. Not much to do other than relax and unwind.
If you ever, ever want a place to relax and to enjoy Mother Nature, this is the place to stay. Derick and his staff are absolutely amazing and will do anything to make it an unforgettable experience. Highly, highly recommended.
