This Exclusive Guest House is an East London landmark built in 1930 and was once a nursing home.
Now offering 13 LUXURY suites (4 of which are sea-facing) and two LUXURY self-catering apartments.
We offer tea/coffee facilities, writing desks and en-suite bathrooms. Rooms are also fitted with TV and selected DSTV Channels. Our suites are air-conditioned and fitted with refrigerators for additional comfort and convenience.
Area Information:THE HAMPTON is on the beach front, with stunning views of the sea, and its sea life (Dolphins and Whales playing in the surf) . We are very centrally situated with most amenities no more than ten miinutes drive away. The airport is 14 km's away and airport shuttles are available on request.
Property Facilities:We have on-site parking, 24-hour security, panoramic views from the eatery, an enclosed courtyard with a fire-place and are 100 metres from a gymnasium and one of the city's finest restaurants. Guests can start their day with a full English breakfast in the dining area overlooking the water, or in the privacy of their room. The property is within walking distance to all the beach front restaurants, pubs and cafés.
Attractions:We are situated in easy access for any visitor who would like to experience our rich culture. We have superb Beaches - Nahoon Beach and river, Eastern Beach and our Beach Front with its Quanza pools etc. There are also so many unspoilt beaches in easy driving distance. Two Golf Courses are within 2km and 5km of Guesthouse. Virgin Active Gym 100m away. Restaurants on doorstep. ICC for big conferences 500m away. Game parks are a mere 30 minutes drive North as are many touchfarms for the kids.
Tours to Mdantsane, Alice/Hogsback, Transkei or any other interesting parts of our area can be arranged.

Staff is very friendly and the hotel is perfectly situated near the beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The price is also reasonable. Will definitely stay there again when I travel to East London.

Nice clean hotel. 2 areas for parking. We had a big apartment, with nice big rooms, fridge and a stove. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location close to the beach, beach walk, restaurant and spar.
