Bushriver Lodge offers accommodation only 25 km from Hoedspruit on the banks of the Olifant's River in the Limpopo Province. We offer guests self-catering accommodation in luxury units with en-suite bathroom facilities and air-conditioning.
Our Main Lodge, consists of 5 separate en-suite rooms, with private decks overlooking the Olifants River. We have 2 swimming pools that provide a chance to cool off during the hot summer days.
Bushriver Lodge is ideally situated to explore the Kruger National Park, the Blyde river Canyon, and surrounding lowveld. A wide range of activities are offered to ensure that your stay with us remain as memorable as can be.

Area Information:Hoedspruit is a small tourism and agriculturally orientated town in the central Lowveld just outside the world famous Kruger National Park. Tourism facilities centre around Game Lodges, Safaris and other "Big 5" activities as well as birding, hikes, and exclusive "getaways". It is a growing town full of character and friendly people.
There are a wide range of supermarket type shopping facilities, including Pick 'n Pay as well as Spar in three main shopping areas. There are also a number of specialist shops providing all the essentials associated with game viewing and adventure/outdoor holidays. Distances: To Phalaborwa Gate (Kruger Park) 55km, to Orpen Gate (Kruger Park) 80km, to Pretoria 430km, to Johannesburg 530km, to Hoedspruit 25 km.
The main lodge has a deck overlooking the Olifants River with braai facilities, bar, DStv, Wi-Fi, lounge, dining area, fully equipped kitchen and a private pool.
Kingfisher Cottage and River-house each have their own private fully equipped kitchen, braai area, all with a view of the river.
Attractions:Activities at the lodge: A gentle morning stroll along the river will relax your senses, or for the more energetic, bush walks are always exciting. Game drives provide guests with the opportunity to view the game from an open vehicle. Wildlife photographers and bird watchers can enjoy the abundance of birds and wildlife on the farm.

Beautiful and Clean, pity a place like Mali Mali can upset a persons Holiday... an event that was meant to be legendary! Mali Mali is not as per there website... they manipulate the internet!
The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
Privacy!
The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!
