Nestled discreetly within the lush landscaped gardens or attached to the main house, each unit has its own private patio and view over the natural coastal fynbos. Our 7 suites, individually decorated with dark wood furnishings and all with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower separate), mini bar, television, ceiling fan, telephone, underfloor heating and hairdryer. There are 3 different accommodation options:-
The four main garden suites are attached to the main house. These rooms all have King Sized beds which can be converted into Twin.
Dark hued cupboards and headboards complement the rich fabrics and throws that adorn these rooms. Each room has a large ottoman that can fold out into a stretcher bed for those couples that would like a child to share the room with them.
Classic ball and claw bath tubs all with garden views fit perfectly into the black and white bathrooms each with a separate shower as well as toilet. All bathrooms have underfloor heating to warm up the rooms on those chilly winter evenings.
Two adjoining garden suites situated on the edge of the garden, facing the coastal thicket. For those couples that are looking for the ultimate breakaway with no noise just the sound of the sea and birds these are the perfect rooms. Light and airy with crisp white linen and light floral throws and scatter cushions. Each with its own private veranda that can be enclosed if need be these rooms are cozy and private.

One Family Cottage big enough for a family of four. This unit is large and spacious, two bedrooms the main bedroom with a King Bed and the second bedroom with twin beds. There is an independent lounge area that leads out onto the open patio/veranda which is ideal for outside dining or al fresco meals during the summer months.
A large bathroom with its black and white checkered floor, classic ball and claw bath, white marble top with twin basins and spacious shower. This bathroom has underfloor heating to warm up the room on our chilly winter nights.
The Family cottage has a large garden with an outdoor swing for the children to use which is ideal while adults sit on the patio with a good book and relax within easy view of their children.

Area Information:St Francis Bay is situated near Jeffreys Bay. It is less than an hour from the Tsitsikamma region and the Storms River. Officially it is situated in the middle bridging the gap between the Garden Route and Eastern Cape safari parks a mere 1.5 hours drive from Port Elizabeth Airport and 1.5 hours from Plettenberg Bay.The region boasts a temperate climate with summers ranging from 25 C to 30 C between the months of October and April. Days are gloriously long with the sun only setting at approximately 19:30 and during winter, days are generally cool with evenings being slightly chilly.

A breakfast buffet and light lunches are available daily in the country-style dining room. Barbecue facilities are also offered in the lush garden or by the outdoor pool.
Situated in the midst of the Garden Route and Safari destinations in the Eastern Cape there are activities to suite all ages.
The lighthouse, called Cape St Francis Lighthouse or Seal Point Lighthouse was built in 1878 at this cape to warn ships of the dangerous reefs that stretch more than a kilometre out to sea. It is the tallest masonry tower on the South African Coast standing at a height of 27.5m. To the right of the lighthouse is the SANCCOB rehabilitation centre for the African Penguins or other stranded sea animals or birds.
During the months of May to September our coastline is graced by Southern Right Whales during calving season and later by the Humpbacks. These beautiful creatures can be observed from a safe distance from one of the many charters that do boat based whale and dolphin trips.
Within the sheltered waters of the Kromme River that meanders all the way to the coast, this is a paradise for any water sport enthusiast. Canoeing, paddle-skiing, snorkelling, canal and river cruises, deep-sea fishing as well as kite-boarding.
Surfers flock to this part of the coastline to favoured surf spots such as Seal Point, Full Stop, Bruces (home of the Perfect wave) and Supertubes.
For 4x4 enthusiasts there is the Baviaanskloof wilderness 4x4 trails, mountain biking as well as trails.

It is such a clean and pretty town, with beautiful beaches and scenic drives. Great restaurants, especially Mauro's Restaurant at the Harbour.
