Hyena@Gecko is a Twin Studio Room B&B or Self Catering with En-suite Shower and large private screened patio with Braai wash up basin and Gas top. With AC - Sleeps 2
Wild Dog@Gecko is a Double Studio with small two person couch, AC and own kitchen and ensuite shower, along with a screened private garden and covered patio sleeps up to 2 persons.
In Room Facilities:All rooms have coffee/tea making facilities, along with Fridge, Toaster Microwave and kettle . TV's are equipped with Netflix and there is good free Wifi available in all rooms. Cutlery, Plates, cups, Towels are all supplied. Serviced every 3 days. Not serviced Saturday and Sunday. Supper and Breakfast's are available at an extra charge.
Area Information:Situated in the small village of Hectorspruit, which has the availability of a bottle store, excellent Butchery and small convenience store (all close at 5pm daily and not open on Sundays). We would suggest stopping at Malelane or Komatipoort en-route to buy your larger shopping requirements. This is a village where you can walk or have a morning/evening jog, a place where children still ride their bikes and families walk.
Property Facilities:Guest in The Annex, Hyena and Wild Dog have access to the Main House swimming pool and Lapa area, also shared with home owners.
There is a Laundry room on the property for guest use, small electricity charge applies.
Gecko Cottage is 20 min drive to Kruger Park, either by Crocodile Bridge or Malelane Gate. Swaziland is a 30 min drive to Jeppe Reef Border post and a 20 min drive to Lebombo (Moz) Border Post. Please note there is a toll gate before Malelane when travelling on the N4 from Nelspruit side (Nkomazi Toll) The cost to go through the Toll is R 89.00 in cash.

Sharon welcomed us warmly when we arrived at Gecko Cottages. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy, and met all our needs. We were able to rest wonderfully after the long journey. The location is ideal when one travel between Pretoria and Mozambique.
