The Lapa is the central communal area and is situated on the main lawn where several tame wildlife species roam free. Behind the main area are Chachma Baboon enclosures where guests can watch the baboons going about their daily antics. The restaurant is run by an acclaimed Executive Chef and his team who present guests with exquisite plated meals. The Bar in the front of the Lapa provides guests with a wide selection of snacks, drinks, fine wines and other alcoholic beverages. Towards one side of the Lapa, is the Boma where the great African traditional "braai" is held. The chefs grill a selection of meats over an open fire pit and the dining area surrounds the warmth of the fire underneath the cool night skies. The pool will help to cool down the hot summer days while the fireplace in the restaurant help warm the cold nights. The kiosk and reception is also placed at the Lapa for convenient check in`s and purchasing unique Harnas paraphernalia.

Reviews
We had an unbeatable and enjoyable experience at the Harnas Wildlife Foundation near Gobabis. .
All staff members were all extremely helpful and friendly. The tour guides are very well trained and knowledgeable. It was really a great time as a family and well worth every cent paid. I would definitely recommend this facility as an outing for family or friends.
It was an experience that I will never forget. I will recommend it to anyone visiting Namibia. The house was clean, neat, spacious. The staff was very friendly and they know all the ins and outs of all the animals.
We stayed there 2 nights in family, and were welcomed late at night as our plane was late.
The room is just amazing, spacious and well thought. Surrounded by animals, all the time, you can even be very close to many of them.
You feel the animals are taken care of, and you can be part of it. We did the feeding excursion, definitely impressive and worth it :)
Food and breakfast are okay, staff is helpful, smiling and efficient, certainly our best experience with animals in Namibia.
