Welcome to Forellenhof Guest Farm.
At Forellenhof you have the best of both worlds, total peace and tranquillity in a relaxed and friendly environment but you are also close to shops where you can buy local arts and crafts, beautiful decor pieces, restaurants and small bistro's and there's even a theatre.
In the rainy season the +/- 3 km dirt road to Forellenhof can become quite slippery and it is recommended to use a vehicle with a high clearance.
Although it is a self-catering facility, we offer breakfast as well as a dinner menu by prior arrangement.

Wonderful accommodation, with fantastic views. Our host was great, providing the correct balance of hands-off treatment and always being available to help if required.
We even had an issue with our car, and our hosts were able to arrange someone to come and help right at our cottage! This turned a potentially poor end to our holiday to an excellent one.
We were booked in for 3 days and didn't want to leave. The view from Freckled Frog was something not to forget! The hosts the best ever. The accommodation was very clean, private and safe. The breakfast very tasty. I can highly recommend a stay at Forellenhof anytime.
Just loved it. Sooo peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. Would definitely go back. Thanks Ronelle.

Very peaceful little town. This is the place if you need time off from the buzz off the city life and just rest and relax.
Beautiful for birders. To note - most things are closed during the week other than the Bakery open daily and the hotel so be sure to check this before going there if you are looking to eat out.
