Situated in the Heart of George, the Two Fat Owls Guesthouse is the ideal base to really explore the beauty of George and all it has to offer. The Guesthouse is in walking distance from most restaurants, Museum, Botanical Gardens, Library, Hospitals and Shopping Centres. An Awesome experience!
The Guesthouse has a Spacious Honeymoon Suite with Mountain views, Three Large Luxury Rooms, one with a view.
We have an enclosed parking area for 9 vehicles, and you can feel free to leave your vehicle on-site when walking to any of our wonderful restaurants or maybe the Botanical gardens.
In Room Facilities:We have an XL King bed in each room that can be transformed into two single beds. DStv, Wi-Fi, Coffee Facility, Hairdryer and shaver point in each room. Bed linen and towels are supplied for each room. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom. We can provide an extra mattress for a small child 4-6 at an extra cost of R250. If a child is older than 6 they will need to sleep on a single bed paying the sharing adult rate. Please contact us directly if you need to book for a child as not all of our rooms can accommodate an extra bed.
Area Information:George is situated halfway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on the Garden Route. Lying in a fertile, rich valley, surrounded by the Outeniqua Mountains, forests, rivers and prosperous farmlands, making it a perfect stopover from which to explore the Garden Route. We are only about 18 minutes drive from Victoria Bay, the closest beach in the area.

Beautiful, serene Accommodation. Loved the room, loved the bathroom facilities. Host went out of her way to make sure we were settled in. Breakfast was lovely and the overall experience was of high quality.

We had a large beautiful, clean comfortable room. Received a warm welcome by both Lettie and Esme.
The large shower was very inviting after a long journey. The host recommend a few places to eat. If we stop over in George we will definitely stay at Two Fat Owls Guesthouse again. Oh and really enjoyed the breakfast.

We had to find somewhere to stay for 1 night after our accommodation that we had, was cancelled.
Found this GEM on Lekker Slaap. Had a response from Esme within 5 min. We were flying back to PMB just after 9 the next day. So it was not even 5min drive from the airport. The rooms were spacious, clean and very well furnished. The country feel was amazing and affordable. Ill keep it on my list of where to stay.
The place is clean and very neat, the owners are very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back there, it's also very secure.
The friendliness, the vibe they had going this time of the year, the beautiful scenery and the guest houses are amazing.
