Hi team. The stay was amazing. We really had tine to relax and unwind. Julian is a wonderful man and very accommodating. The cottage is well situated and the surroundings are just beautiful. If I had to make a small suggestion, The braai grid for inside is too small and we found it quite difficult to braai. Other than that, we really loved it there and would love to come back in August. Take care and all the best.
Beautiful setting, safe, friendly host and delightfully rustic cottage (Hobbit Hole).
Refreshing, very private , and very dog friendly. Loved every minute
Absolutely wonderful. Our dogs had the best time, swam, ran an played freely to their hearts contents. It was such a lovely little cottage that everything we needed. The hist was very helpful and friendly. If I had to mention something to note, it would be to not have your doggies swim in the river, ours had bumps on their backs the next day. We rinsed one of the two after the river swim, but not both. Maybe just rinse them if they do jump in. Regardless of that, we'll keep going back. We've definitely found our new favourite spot.
Truly sublime and magical setting... never felt relaxed all year. Pure doggy heaven for my fur-babies.
Enjoyed our stay at this very unique cottage. The host was very friendly and its a great getaway if you want to take your dogs with.
It was a very nice experience especially for the dogs. We enjoyed the Hobbit feel when entering the cottage. Best place to just relax and appreciate nature.
Willow Cottage was an unexpected gem with built in creature comforts, (king size bed and a dishwasher) even our dogs didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back, want to try out the fireplace in Winter.
What a magical place. Was just what was needed.

Bot River (Botrivier) Reviews
Close to wine farms and cool farm stalls.
It's relaxing and laid back with friendly people.
DIE RUSTIGHEID!
Scenery!
Peace and quiet.
The view of the mountains.
A small town with plenty of character. Absolutely loved how close the wine farms were, and the little stalls on the side of the road had lots to offer. Food at the Botriver Hotel was also great value for money, with super friendly staff!
