We offer stylish holiday accommodation at our large beach house Summer Dreams situated at 1298 Linton Road, Ramsgate.
The house is about 700m from Ski Boat Beach, 500m from the sea-front (which is Shirley’s Point on the Ramsgate Marine Ramble walk along the beach front) and about 800m from the Southbroom beach. Both Ramsgate and Southbroom are blue flag beaches and the house is well positioned between the two world class blue flag beaches.
In Room Facilities:Full linen and towelling is provided for all rooms. Guests should bring their own beach towels.
The cottage sleeps 4 and has a queen-size bed and 2 single beds with En-suite bathroom (toilet and shower only) no kitchen.
Area Information:Ramsgate is known for its excellent blue flag beach, upmarket feel and superb restaurants including Blue Lagoon, Waffle House and the Crayfish Inn.
Summer Dreams is well positioned between two world class blue flag beaches and the bathing beaches are protected by shark nets for your safety.
700m from the Ski Boat beach which is a quiet almost private swimming beach (with shark nets and lifeguards) and ski boat beach club. The launch is pretty protected, you park right next to the beach and there is usually a security guard there. Enjoy!
800m from the Southbroom blue flag beach.
900m from the Ramsgate blue flag beach.
The South Coast Mall and Shelley Centre, two major shopping centres are just 13km away to the north. The Wild Coast Sun Casino is just 30km away to the South.
Summer Dreams is situated in close vicinity to 5 top golf courses within a radius of 30km and is a golfer’s haven. Very close are Wild Coast Sun, Port Edward, Southbroom, San Lameer, Margate and Port Shepstone. A bit further north is Umdoni Park, Selborne and Scottburgh.
Other activities include fishing, hiking trails, boat trips, scuba diving and world renowned sites of interest.
Property Facilities:There is a choice of 2 braai facilities. The main balcony on the second floor has a braai facility, table and chairs and the ground floor verandah near the pool has table and chairs.
Upstairs the kitchen is fully functional with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, filter coffee machine and comprehensive set of crockery and cutlery.

Our stay was terrible, i wouldn't recommend that place to any one , firstly the dstv wasn't working at all , we had no tv for the whole 4 days , i reported on Friday when we came in but no one came to check, secondly everyone knows about Load shedding but these no backup lights or gas stove we had to sit in the dark with no water since they use pump system that requires electricity and lastly since it was raining on Sunday water was coming in throw the roof and front doors upstairs , to top it up all we work Monday morning with no water because the pump was faulty, when phone we were promised to wait for 11 after Load shedding mind u we haven't used the toilets, bath or had breakfast nd at 11 hoping that power will be back nothing they said there was power station that is broken close by so that is why we didn't have electricity but what's strange is that the house next door had electricity, so we went home without taking a bath and breakfast we have to stop at garage to use the toilets.
So we are not happy at all , we couldn't even wash the dishes from the previous day.☹️
It was such a pleasant stay and we will certainly be back. The house and yard are quite large and very well maintained. Incredible views from the main house which is also very well secured. Great braai area, pool and every room was fully furnished and impeccably clean. One of the few accommodations that certainly deliver against what is promised. No complaints whatsoever!!!!

Everything about the place I absolutely loved and enjoyed.
Ramsgate has the most beautiful beaches and we love the Blue Lagoon restaurant and Waffle House little complex. The people are friendly even at the local Spar.
Everything was close and convenient in Ramsgate.
Wish we had more time here. It is beautiful and not too rushed (at least out of season).
Beaver Creek coffee plantation, Wagon Saloon and the Waffle House are definite must visits.
