Beautiful decor, lovely stay
My husband, son and myself stayed at this guesthouse for a few nights in February.
We really had a very good stay and we enjoyed the personal touches. The owner was on hand with information and fresh coffee and rusks in the mornings. The location is perfect and walking distance to Muizenberg beach. The décor is stunning and everything was clean and the property has a very open feel.
Hidden gem in a fascinating town
After working in South Africa for a week, I needed a break so I rented a car (drove it on the "wrong" side of the road!) and traveled quite a ways south and east along the Cape...at one point early on, I stopped in Muizenberg at night and searched in vain for an open hotel, so I did a search for B&Bs and found this gem. The fellows that run this wonderfully eccentric place were extremely accommodating and kind (they answered their phone fairly late, and met me at the gate), and we had a great time hanging out for a bit and talking about SA history and assorted other fascinating topics (how many surfers have been eaten by sharks here? Etc)...The living room and other shared spaces were stylish and they even had a local painter showing his excellent work throughout the house, and the upstairs room in a corner of the house was roomy, had a private bath, and excellent internet and cable tele.
I can't recommend this little BnB enough, so if you're in Muizenberg on vacation (or Biz), give these gents a call for a very well priced and delightful stay!
Fabulous Guesthouse
I had a lovely stay at Muizenberg Guestique. A warm welcome, clean rooms, crisp linens and one of the most peaceful sleeps I can remember. What a gem. I will be back soon. It is just round the corner from a wonderful local favorite restaurant called Joon and a few roads from the beach through the cute Muizenberg village. Really just what I wanted. Thanks Freddy for a wonderful stay!
This is such a posh guesthouse, and so worth the money. We had a beautiful, spacious room with a breathtaking view over Muizenberg. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone. The manager, Freddie, was very friendly and helpful at all times.

Busy life
Only the water.
Muizenberg is a very nice laid back suburb and a heck of a lot to do - great beach for surfing & swimming - mountain hikes - great restaurants - I stayed at the best place ever right opposite the beach called Cape Capsules Back Packers the owners organized boat trips for us it was awesome. There is the Blue Bird Garage which makes excellent food on Friday nights - I’ll be back soon !
