Kam’Bati River Resort adds plenty of family-friendly activities to your glamping experience. Try your luck at fishing from the river banks, or challenge the whole family to a round of mini-golf. The kids will love swinging into the river from a rope, the three swimming pools with slides, and the playground.
Our 55m2 custom-made tents are fully furnished and equipped with a private kitchen, lounge, en-suite bathroom (with private shower and toilet), two comfy bedrooms with real beds (each tent sleeps a total of five guests), a fireplace, air-conditioning, and a wooden deck. There is an outdoor wood-fired hot tub next to each tent and is the perfect place to listen to the birdsongs or relax under the stars at night.

Excellent. Everything about the experience was top notch. From arriving and not having to deal with anyone, to the gorgeous glampsite with everything clean and beautiful, to the hot tub under the stars and the days on the river, the pool for the kids etc. All excellent. I cannot recommend kam’bati enough. We will be going back there shortly. Best stay away in years.

A great weekend away and enjoyed by all. Just too short!!
Lovely resort.
However there was no soap or even matches to start the hot tubs or fire. Shop doesn’t take cash nor sell matches on card. We had to borrow from the neighbours.
We love africamps and try to stay at least once a year at the various sites
we really enjoyed our weekend at kambati. will definitely go back again
This was an very enjoyable stay, our first time glamping and we are officially hooked.
Best experience just wish that we could have done the canoeing as well but it was no longer available when we arrived but further on great experience.
Booked it for my parents and they loved every second of it ❤

La Belle Alliance restaurant is AMAZING for breakfast!
I enjoyed Aan De Eike Guesthouse, My room were clean and the service were excellent.I felt very safe enjoyed every moment since I arrived. Swellendam is beautiful with most beautiful views. The location was very convenient and would recommend The Republican Restaurant. The food and vibe were awesome. It's safe to walk in Swellendam, what a beautiful place for entertainment

Scenery, the residents, the roads are in great condition (compared to many many many other towns/cities in SA).
Wildebraam Estate. Friendly people. No traffic. Has all the shops and places one needs.
