Port View House has eight en-suite bedrooms, individually decorated. Furnishing include dark wood cabinets and dressers and are accompanied by classic bedspreads and curtains. Rooms are fitted with a fridge, satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities and telephone. Bathrooms are basic and comfortable. Relax on a lounger by the swimming pool, sit on the upper terrace and drink in the views, or read in the beautifully manicured gardens. Rates include a delicious full English breakfast which can be enjoyed in the breakfast rooms or in the front of the house, overlooking the swimming pool. The guest house is located near a variety of restaurants which are suitable for lunch or dinner. We have selected favourite Cape Town tours for guests to choose from. Sight-seeing, shopping, cultural exploration, adventure activities, must play Golf Courses and sunny beaches can all be booked and arranged at Port View.

Port View House is 25 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport, a 20 minute walk away from the V&A Waterfront and a 5 minute drive to Cape Town's CBD and Convention Centre. Port View House is ideally centrally located with short drives to all major tourist attractions. Our guesthouse is located just off Green Point's main road and is within walking distance from various restaurants and shops as well as the well-renowned Green Point Stadium and Cape Town city centre, making it the perfect resting place for concertgoers and tourists alike. The V&A Waterfront, Two Oceans Aquarium, Table Mountain Cable Cars, and the infamous Long Street are all a short drive or walk away.

Easy to book, quick comms, comfortable, very clean, great shower, not the best bed but slept well; recommend highly!
Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. There were however four annoying misquitos in my room that kept me up a bit at night that I had to get rid of. There was only one TV channel that had good reception.
Portview guest house was a great value for money and the location is very convenient. The people were friendly and helpful. The place is cosy and has all you need. I will go back anytime. It was like a home away from home

Easy access to everything, and many things only walking distance around to enjoy, including the promenade, Green Point Park, Virgin Active gym, V&A water front, Cape Town stadium, Long street and the Green Market square. also many great restaurants and coffee shops near by.
Best sleep I have had at a backpackers in years. Decor and staff are notably excellent. I will be back.
