This modern 2-bedroom house is situated on a wildlife eco estate. This property can accommodate 5 guests in 2 bedrooms and a single sleeper couch in the living area.
The 1st bedroom has a double bed, en suite bathroom, ceiling fan, and air conditioner. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, an en suite bathroom, a ceiling fan, and air conditioning.
Both these rooms are en suite and the whole house is air-conditioned. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and comes with a 4 hob gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, and kettle and coffee plunger. The kitchen, living, and dining areas are open-plan with glass doors that lead out to the wooden deck. The dining room has a 6 seater table and chairs. The lounge has a sleeper couch, a flat-screen TV, a DSTV explorer - SA DSTV, not Mozambique, and an iPod docking station.
The outside deck has a 6 seater table and chairs, a 3 seater couch and 3x1 seater couches, and a gas Weber braai. The house has a gas heater as well for those cold winter days. Outside shower with hot water and a plunge pool with 2 pool loungers.
Please take note of the Nkumbe Estate rules below:
Adhere strictly to the 30km/h speed limit
Engage 4x4 at all times on the estate to help maintain the roads
Drive only on the designated roadways (save our bush, tortoises, and snakes)
Do not feed the animals
No pets are allowed on the estate
Please respect those who have come to the estate for the bush experience when it comes to loud music, particularly at night.
You will be required to sign in and out at the security gate. Security will provide you with a tag.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
**Please be advised that you will need a 4x4 vehicle to gain access to the property due to the sandy roads.**
The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk.
STAFF TIP
There is a compulsory staff tip of 300 mts per day for each of the 2 staff members. This included the day of arrival and day of departure. Make sure to pay the staff before your departure. Their working hours are from 8 am - 3 pm.
REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
The house has a refundable breakage deposit of R3000 which will be refunded back to you within 2 weeks after your departure date.
EARLY And LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit, and check-out by no later than 3 pm.
No pets are permitted. Loud music, parties, and functions will not be allowed. House rules in all Estates have a noise level cut-off of 10:30 pm. Should you not adhere to these rules the full breakage deposit will be retained.

Friendly people and amazing vibe.
The whole relaxed vibe in Ponta Malongane.
Great place to visit, heading back in a couple of months. Bars/restaurants - 360, Ninho's, Drunken Clam, Sunset shack were our favourites and have great staff.
360 bar was really nice, as the name suggests the view was incredible. Further towards Ponta du Ora is die Malboerbar. This was probably the best bar we went to in terms of prices, food and the vibe.
We enjoyed nature, quietness, being without TV, playing board games, driving around in sandy roads to explore, watching the whales from our deck, visit the local little shops.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the locals.
