A mere 40-minute drive from the Kosi Bay border, along a sandy 4x4 route you will find Aloha Estate. If your idea of a holiday is a luxury home on a remote beach then this is the house.

Aloha house number 1 is situated in the beachfront row of houses and has its private wooden walkway, elevated above the dune vegetation, leading from the private swimming pool directly onto the beach. This house has its own private, built gazebo on the beach and is furnished with a table and chairs. Relax under the shady gazebo while watching your kids play on the beach.

The house consists of 4 bedrooms and 1 living area and has a shabby chic, beach feel with the local input of reeded blinds and natural fabrics. The architectural layout is in such a way that the bedrooms are privately situated from one other.

Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with linen, bed throws, bedside tables, and lamps. 2 Bedrooms are sea-facing and have 1 queen-size bed per bedroom, and both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The other 2 bedrooms are garden facing and have 1 double and 1 single bed per bedroom, both these bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The 4 bathrooms have a shower, basin, and toilet. towels are provided, but please bring your beach towels along. There are ceiling fans above all the beds. This house can comfortably accommodate 10 people.
Each room is equipped with a fan.

The open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining room area are situated separately from the bedrooms, have your morning coffee in the living area overlooking the pristine beach and protected marine reserve area without disturbing those wanting to have a late sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a 4 hob gas stove with Oven, large fridge/freezer plus a chest freezer, washing machine, and microwave. All you need to bring along is your food, drinks, and drinking water. Dishwashing liquid and other cleaning materials are provided.

Outside there is a swimming pool with sun loungers.

There is a gas braai. No wood or charcoal braais are allowed due to the thatch roof. Frederico's snorkeling spot is a short 10-minute stroll down the beach. Ensure you take snorkeling gear along!

Free wifi is available at the house, just ask the staff for the password.

There is a Dive Centre at the Malongane Campsite, which is a 15-minute drive from the house. You can hire dive gear from the center.

Deep-sea fishing charters, as well as Swimming with Dolphins, take place from certain activity centers in Ponta do Ouro.

Turtles lay their eggs between Nov and February which you can witness if you take a stroll on the beach in the evenings after dark. The hatchlings make their way to the ocean from Jan to March. Humpback and Southern Right Whale sightings are prolific from July to Nov. Pods of dolphins can be seen all year round. Lastly, Elephant Game Park is 20 km northwest of the beach house.

There are a few restaurants in Ponta Malongane. They have all local Portuguese flavor and are fairly rustic with beautiful views over Sugi Lake. They are a 15-minute drive from the house.

Ponta Do Ouro has a bank, bottle store, pharmacy, surf shops, fishing tackle shop, deli, hardware store, petrol station, internet cafe, supermarket, (limited) craft and curio market and a colorful food market where you can buy fruit and veg are grown locally, alcohol, cigarettes, airtime, prawns, cashews, bread and the like. Quad bikes, surfboards, and kite surfing equipment can be hired, and lessons are available in Ponta Do Ouro.

Ice can be bought at this market or from the shebeens closer to home in Malongane village.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

**Please note that a 4x4 is required to reach Aloha estate (You need to reduce tire pressure by 1,2 - 1,5 bars max) No 2x4 vehicles will be permitted on the premises as they are damaging the roads on the estate.**

The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
Please take note that there is a R4000 refundable breakage deposit that is refunded within 2 weeks of your departure date, depending on breakage/items missing at the house.

STAFF TIP
There is a full-time housekeeper. She cleans, makes beds, and washes dishes. A compulsory staff tip of R70 per day is to be paid to her on your departure date. This includes your arrival and departure days. There is also a gardener at the house, he can be tipped at your discretion.

EARLY And LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit, check out by no later than 3 pm.

No pets are permitted. Loud music, parties, and functions will not be allowed. House rules in all Estates have a noise level cut-off of 10:30 pm. Should you not adhere to these rules the full breakage deposit will be retained.
