Comfortable accommodation in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Big Skies has 7 rooms (3 are family rooms) - all are en-suite, air-conditioned and have selected premium DSTV channels. Enjoy the outdoor pool, braai area, kitchenette and lounge. Free wifi and secure parking available. 300m from beach.
In Room Facilities:Each room has air-conditioning, a fridge, 32" flat screen TV, selection of premium DSTV channels, tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, safe, electric blanket (in winter) and free toiletries. Rooms come with a private bathroom fitted with toilet, basin and a shower over bath.
Area Information:Picturesque Gordon’s Bay is the perfect base from which to explore all that the beautiful Cape has to offer. Just half an hour from Cape Town International Airport and only 45 minutes from Cape Town and the Waterfront. Popular Hermanus is also just a 45 minute drive away along one of the most scenic drives in the world. There are at least 8 excellent 18 hole golf courses within 20 minutes drive from Gordon's Bay. The world famous wine routes are also on our doorstep.
Property Facilities:Big Skies Guesthouse features free Wi-Fi throughout and has free secure gated parking. There is also a private outdoor pool area, braai facilities, kitchenette area and lounge. During peak season the Big Skies honesty bar is open for sundowners - the balcony has lovely views of the mountains and the bay. The sunsets in Gordon's Bay are a highlight!

Ons verblyf by die gastehuis was heerlik, eienaars is vriendelik asook die personeel. Die ontbyt was aangenaam net jammer loadshedding het dinge moeilik gemaak vir daardie eerste koppie koffie.
Very comfortable with the best breakfast. Hosts were very accommodating and hospitable. Would recommend staying here. Very homely.
Serene. Lovely accommodation. Near malls, restaurants and beach. Everything is within walking distance.
My stay was great. Tracy and Connie went out of their way to make sure I had an enjoyable weekend.
Very good overall, as expected for the price. Location & safe parking good. Useful to have the shared kitchenette and lounge areas, not common in other guest-houses. Connie was friendly and pleasant & breakfast was great. Disappointed that Wi-Fi was so slow we couldn't use it, and although the aircon switched on, we couldn't feel that it worked but maybe we didn't use it properly. Only stayed 1 night; would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the pool and pub areas!
