Nice and clean stay.

Ons kan net van vriendelikheid en pragtige skoon wooneenheid {POT 1} getuig. Die ontvangs was baie behulpsaam en proffesioneel.
Die pragtige herfsbome, skoon groen grasperke en rustige atmosfeer langs die dam was net 'n plesier. Ons besoek julle beslis weer.
Selfs die vreindelike nagwag wat ons elke aand kom gerusstel het. Dankie vir die gratis braaihout.

NS Dankie ook vir die skoonmaker wat ons handdoeke en swemklere wat ons vergeet het gebring het voor ons vertrek.
Selfs die skoene onder die bed vir ons hou tot ons dit kan kom optel. Dis voorwaar puik diens, wat jy nie orals kry nie.

Doen so voort..... die goeie wat jy aan ander doen sal weer vir jou tot seen wees.

What an awesome boys weekend out, we were a crowd of 16 guys and booked 8 tents respectively. The venue is exactly as advertised and more. Very friendly staff and stick to the rules 100%. With all guys at the venue, was limited to no music, which was a problem, however we managed. This place is for nature lovers and boat freaks, no fish. I would recommend to a friend. Peace and quiet.

I am not a camper... yes, why do you ask, do you write a review about Tanglewood. YOU don't have to be a camper to love and enjoy Tanglewood. There are so many tents you can rent, all well equipped and clean. But the highlight for me as a non camper is the Luxury tent. Great Kingsize bed, kitchenette, toilet, dhower indoors and outdoors, and a lounge with a couch and great coffee table. You can roll up the canvas and have an unrestricted view to Boskop Dam. That is especially intriguing in the morning, when you are woken by nature ..... no, not that , I mean the birds. The campsite is great, two outdoor pools, one more suited for Kids, the other is heated (even in SA) anyway lots of things to do, Jungle Jim, Slides Volleyball, The toilets and showers are very clean. The bar is suitable for the camping site and the staff is very friendly and helpful (you can even get breakfast at weekends. and best of all, it is a low noise camp site , i.e. no loud music, no loud radios etc. . Get a break from all electronic toys you have ... and listen to the tranquil quietness, when you sit at the shore and try to catch a fish, yes that and kayaking is also possible. Just one word for the whole comes to my mind "RELAX" this is it.

While looking for a camping site for this past long weekend, we resolved to checking out the internet. Knowing that places aren't always as glamorous as what they look like on the website, we set off to Tanglewood Nature estate with two tents and fishing gear on 27 April. What a pleasant surprise when we arrived...it looked exactly as advertised on their website. The greenest grass, large open spaces for children to play and to picnic and best of all, for a long weekend it wasn't crowded at all. They don't allow loud music so the weekend was peaceful listening to the sound of insects and frogs at night. The bathrooms (showers and bath) are super clean any time of the day and there is always toilet paper. The staff are very friendly and efficient and willing to help. The booking process was smooth and efficient. Fishing is allowed and boats as well but only idle speed to fish - no jet ski's or watersports allowed.
There are tents that can be hired should you not own your own tent with or without bedding at an extra cost. Their tariffs are great and it was money well spent. Tanglewood will definitely see us again.

I have stayed at Tanglewood on numerous occasions and have never had any problems. I was a day visitor
a few days ago and like the new card system for people who visit often as I am a bass angler. I have noticed that over the past two years, the owners have made an effort to improve the resort. This has been appreciated.
