Welcome to The Gull self-catering beach accommodation located on the Myoli beach front in Sedgefield, 100m from the whale watching platform. Sedgefield is distanced equally between Knysna and the Wilderness in the Garden Route and is ideally located to all of the Garden Routes attractions.
In Room Facilities:THE COTTAGE consists of:
- 2 x bedrooms, Double bed in Main Bedroom & 2 single beds in
second bedroom
- 1 x bathroom (separate toilet)
- Open plan lounge/dining-room/kitchen
Sleeps 4 comfortably, a fifthperson can sleep on the sleeper
couch
Private garden and Braai area
THE APARTMENT consists of:
- 2 x bedrooms, Queen bed in main Bedroom & two single beds
in second bedroom
- 1 x bathroom (separate toilet)
- Open plan lounge/dining/kitchen
Sleeps 4 comfortably, a fifth person can sleep on the sleeper

The Boma fire and Pizza oven was an delightful first off experience. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy a Breakfast on the veranda together with the many Robins and Bird variety. The Cottage has everything required for a amazing retreat. Just bring something to Braai. We recommend The Gull 5/5. Sedgefield been very dear to our heart. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at the Gull was pleasant in every way. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the host, Ruth, who showed us around.
The cottage is clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The bathroom and toilet are newly renovated and are beautifully and simply decorated.
The cherry on the top is that the magnificent unspoilt beach and little restaurant is a few minutes walk from the cottage.
I wasn't at the place but my friend who had gone said that she had the most amazing experience. She would also like to especially extend her gratitude towards Ruth for being such wonderful host. She was quite helpful with everything, giving short and practical lessons on how everything works, among other things.
Definitely worth the stay, definitely worth the money and with it being so close to the beach, definitely worth the experience.
