Bambuu Lakeside Lodge is sprawled out on the banks of its own private lake. Its reflection in the calm waters is a promise of the luxury, peace and tranquility it has to offer.
We also offer our guests 24 hours a day uninterupted power supply making use of alternative power sources.
Each of the spacious en-suite rooms has a view of the lake and its fauna and flora. We also offer Satellite Television, Mini Bars and Beverage Facilities in each of the rooms. All our rooms have been designed with nature in mind where you can enjoy a 180 degree view of the lake as well as the indigenous forest from the comfort of your room.
Area Information:The Lodge is the perfect base from which to experience the pride of South Africa’s conservation efforts, the Kruger National Park and also the Panorama Route with God's Window, Graskop with its Lift Company and finally one of the largest Green Canyons in the world, the Blyde River Canyon. Tours are offered to all these attractions.

The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent—plentiful and tasty, first fruit, juice and cereal (if desired). Then came eggs, bacon toast or bread. We asked for a latte and were happily served on the beautiful floating dock. We liked the food so much (the mussels with garlic cream sauce were so good, I had them for the main course the next night)we came back for dinner and skipped an extra tourist site so we could arrive earlier to sit on the dock and take in the lake and watch the hippo.
Everything was perfect.
The stay was excellent. 5 star accommodation and excellent service. Check in is fast and the breakfast is great.
The family room extremely spacious with lovely décor touches. Huge bathroom. Staff and management very efficient and helpful. Food well prepared and tasty.

Absolutely incredible experience at Bambuu. The staff were so professional and friendly. The location is fantastic and the rooms were beautifully laid out and comfortable. We felt so at home and relaxed staying here. Well worth every cent spent. If I could quit my job and just live there, I would be happy :)

This lodging went way beyond our expectations. Set off on a small lake complete with blooming lily pads and hippos, the decor was lovely and dramatic, the food excellent, and the room very private and comfortable. Staff was extremely professional and nice, and eating a meal out on the reed covered porch hanging over the water was magical, as were all the nooks and crannies where one could relax with a glass of wine. Tremendous value for the money.
We loved the rooms, the outside area with breakfast directly at the lake and the staff was really friendly. In the evening they will bring you blankets while you drink wine and watch the sunset - they are really attentive. The staff member who welcomed us was really proud of everything: he presented us our room, took us around in the lodge and it was so nice to see that he enjoys his job. We felt very comfortable. We think it was the prettiest room / lodge we visited in South Africa!
It's a 40-50 min drive to Kruger Park and about 30 min to Graskop. You need a car for this lodge, it is a bit remote.
