The furnishing was elegantly and stylish done by Riana and the inviting ambiance will make you feel right at home!
The house just had a makeover with modern bathrooms and stylish bedrooms. You can relax in the living room area in comfort and have your meal in the wooden floor dining room with the same fireplace that was used by the daughter of Mr Pellesier (The founder of Bethulie).
In Room Facilities:TV, Fridge, Coffee station, Small bed on request. Open plan bathroom. Disability friendly.
Area Information:Bethulie was originally established as a service and trading centre for the large scale commercial sheep and cattle ranches that were the predominant industry at the time. With the development of the Bethulie and Gariep Dams the region has opened up into other commercial farming ventures, including prominent South African Horse Stud Farms.
Property Facilities:The guesthouse is located on a Pecan farm.
Attractions:The is rich in history with lots of things to see and do, the dams and the bridge over the Orange river is a must visit and there is plenty of wildlife abound. Museum and the concentration camp dating back to the Boer war also makes for an interesting visit. The most spectacular sunsets and cloud formations are visible daily and at night the ski lights up with the most amazing stars.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful building, beautiful farm, we were welcomed by a friendly host and his 3 adorable dogs. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and the bed. Oh my word was comfy. We didn't want to get up. The breakfast was first class. I would definitely recommend staying at Bethulie Guest house. We loved our stay.

We had such an enjoyable stay at
bethuli GH. The magnificent ambiance, the wonderful personal service from Kobus and the peace and tranquility of the surrounds. Highly recommended whether it is overnight or to refresh your soul.

What a beautiful old house! There is so much detail in everything and the decor is very stylish. Our host welcomed us warm heartily and let us feel at home. He cooked for us the most amazing, tastefully and good looking food, for dinner and breakfast. It was as if we were in a 5 star restaurant as he described every dish in detail! What a pleasant stay.
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Bethulie Guest Farm during a winter getaway. The historic farmhouse with large comfortable rooms provided desired amenities, while our quirky host Kobus was a real gem and prepared delicious meals. The experience was excellent value for money and we look forward to our next stay.

Sun-downers on the Bridge is a must. We enjoyed eating at the Ou Kar restaurant.
