In Room Facilities:The main bedroom has a Queen bed with an en-Suite bathroom (shower only). The 2nd Bedroom has a Queen bed and the 3rd Bedroom has two Single Beds which can also be made into a King-Size Bed for a couple. All Bedrooms are air-Conditioned. The second bathroom has a bath and a shower. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, comfortable lounge area with air-conditioner, DSTV EXPLORA as well as a DVD Player. The house is serviced daily. Two additional Sleeper Couches are provided in the sun / reading room.
Area Information:Lake St. Lucia is Africa’s largest estuarine system located in St Lucia along the KwaZulu-Natal Coastline. It is 80 kms longand 23 kms wide at its widest point. Home to over 800 Hippos and 1200 crocodiles, this dynamic system hosts large flocks of pelicans, flamingos, ducks, waders and a variety of fish and other aquatic species.
Property Facilities:The house has got a lovely sparkling pool and entertainment area with sliding doors leading out from the Living Room onto the patio where you may enjoy a sundowner or BBQ/Braai with family and friends while watching the children having fun in the pool! Free Wi-Fi internet access and parking with 2 garages available + 3 additional parking spaces.
You will simply experience the true tranquillity of the quiet and serene garden together with an abundance of bird life in and around the house. An enclosed jungle gym with slide is provided at the back of house for the little ones to play on.

We were a party of six. Four teenage girls and two ladies of a certain age. Bianca made us very welcome and even went for a takeaway for us because we arrived after dark...she even found wine!!!!! Nothing was too much trouble for her. Pretty, our housekeeper, was a delightful young lady, very diligent, as was Freedom the garden worker.
Pelican's Nest is very well equipped. Bianca has obviously thought long and hard to make the dwelling a real home from home. I would recommend this holiday home without hesitation!
We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican's Nest! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for our holiday, including hair dryer, pool towels, electric converter plug, internet. Perfect and safe location. We received tons of helpful information from Bianca prior to our arrival and were greeted by Karel and Pretty when we arrived. Great hospitality! We recommend this house to anyone visiting St. Lucia!

We went to St Lucia Villa Mia 5 to recover after operation. Absolutely beautiful place. Our own private braai area right at pool. Due to my medical condition we could not go out but our hosts arranged food delivery for us from nearly all the restaurants in St Lucia. One night there was guests that were intoxicated and loud. We informed our hosts who in return got the caretaker at the property in minutes and he resolved the issue. Will definitely book again. Thanks to the workers at Villa Mia that were always willing to run and get us something we needed in town. It felt like home and we will always remember our trip. Next time we will definitely visit all the attractions that St Lucia has to offer.
