Our homestay service includes free wifi with internet access, dinner (with our family), bed and breakfast(self help). Laundry (wash and iron), linen change and housekeeping once a week is included.
Family of 4, husband 54 years old, daughter of 21 years studying at UCT and a 19 year old geriatric cat.
Very quiet area, close to the city (1.4km) and to the Myciti bus route (station is 150m away). Uber and taxicab makes the city and Cape Peninsula easily accessible. Although close to city, the suburb is very quiet. We are situated close to the following colleges: Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Oxford English College, EF College, Goodhope English College, EC College and University of Cape Town.
Our suburb of District 6, Zonnebloem is also well known for hosting immersion homestay students that study english at colleges in Cape Town.
Our home has been providing an immersion homestay family to english students since 2015. Our Bo Kaap Malay cuisine adds to the cultural tastes and flavours at our home. Home made Feijoada, Kabsa, Belgium waffles, Italian Pizza are enjoyed while having good conversation.

We have 3 pause areas: a front garden, a lounge and rear lapa area. From the rear lapa pause area we have a view of Table Mountain.
