Modern, polished, clean, with a professional staff, situated near the boardwalk in a safe and upscale residential neighbourhood. Comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds and gardens. Breakfast to order and snacks in the room.
We planned to stay one night in Port Elizabeth but the hotel was so conscience (location) and comforting, we extended our stay by one more night during our garden route trip. We love the breakfast and the laundry lady was so professional.
Great service, great room, great breakfast, and great location. It's close enough to the water that everything is nearby, yet far enough away that it was a quiet place to spend some time.
Beautiful hotel and restaurant. It deserves not just 5 stars, but 5 good stars. The food at the restaurant is amaaaaazing! Great, welcoming staff...you won't want to leave!
We actually won a 2 night stay for 2 at this beautiful place. Refreshing and friendly all round. Breakfast was delicious, rooms luxurious and all round lovely experience. When we needed something they were very obliging and fast. Thank you!
I used the hotel for my graduation dinner. The staff went the extra mile to provide me with exceptional services. I am particularly grateful to the receptionist, the venue and events coordinator as well as the chefs. They helped me make sense of what I was hoping to do and offered great advice.The venue is also stunning if hoping to take pictures during your event. Best staff, best meals, best venue, best prices.
The staff were friendly upon our arrival and the room was perfect. Five star quality was definitely the order of the day. We travelled with two toddlers and a camp for was made up to allow for a more comfortable night. I cannot wait to return. Thank you.
Well at first site it looks like you are walking into this beautiful open plan building. Staff are friendly and well presented. Rooms are stunning and has everything you need. Room service is great and food very well presented and absolutely divine. A beautiful view from the balcony over looking a stunning light up pool. Worth every cent thanks guys see you soon.

I've been staying at Isango regularly over the past year and I've always enjoyed a good stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly, facilities are very good and overall atmosphere of the hotel is very smart. The hotel is beautiful and you really feel welcomed and comfortable during your stay. I would highly recommend Isango Gate Boutique Hotel to anyone travelling to PE!

Port Elizabeth is the Cinderella of seaside cities - the friendly city is much maligned for the wind that often blows during the peak December holidays, but in fact it has real champagne weather - never really too hot or too cold and that slight fizz from the wind - keeps the air clean and humidity at bay!
A family friendly city with some of the most beautiful beaches, malaria free game parks in and close to PE (GQ). The wonderful and plentiful coffee shops, sometimes spilling onto the sidewalks, reminds one of the French coffeeshop culture - just much cheaper! A multitude of excellent restaurants spread all across the city, beachfront and suburbs, offer a smorgasbord of superb multi-cultural cuisines. A variety of Accommodation is on offer at great value for money. Both family and business travellers are equally catered for. With many wedding venues within a relatively small radius of each other - Port Elizabeth with its easy access and still relatively low traffic volumes, great accommodation in the suburbs, have become a wedding destination of choice.
