All units have a fireplace and underfloor heating, making winter an ideal getaway time. Our mission is to provide you with exceptional accommodation, privacy and peace in a magnificent location.
Sunbird features 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds, 1 with 2 single beds) each with an en suite bath, shower, toilet and two vanities. All 3 bedrooms have DSTV and open out onto the magnificent mountain view. For those chilly winter evenings there is a wood burning fireplace and under floor heating throughout.
Linen, towels and outdoor towels are provided.
Hoopoe and Kingfisher :An open plan "loft style" area with king size bed, lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen areas.
En suite bathroom with bath, basin, toilet, indoor and outdoor showers.
The Central Drakensberg offers a wide range of interesting and exciting activities - there is something for everyone, from enjoying a concert or music festival at the world renowned Drakensberg Boys' Choir to riding the high wire at the Drakensberg Canopy Tour and then a relaxing treatment at one of the spa centres.

Four Rivers Rafting & Adventures offer white water rafting trips, segways, quad-bikes, abseiling and many related adventure activities.

We enjoyed our stay, beautiful view and everything at this prima self-catering unit.
This was my third visit and it was as lovely as ever. Cottage is extremely well equipped, and together with the view and other luxuries, it is really good value. Wonderful spot if your body and soul needs a good pamper.
I was speechless! The place is like heaven. Its quiet, very clean and has everything you need, all the necessities. Thanks a lot to the very professional and friendly staff. I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to visit the drakensberg, it's a great place.
What a wonderful little gem! We truly enjoyed the spectacular views as well as the odd pleasure of climbing into a Jacuzzi in the middle of winter. It was really spacious and lovely, just note that they don't offer a daily cleaning service (they do have a dishwasher). Would really recommend if you're looking for a place in the area!

Our stay in Ama Casa Cottages was great. Dave and Les were more than obliging to provide us with hot water for tea and coffee while the electricity was cut off. Beautiful scenery, location and cottage. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, but it was a pleasure to stay in such well thought out comfortable accommodation. Everything was on hand, a hot jacuzzi was ready, comfortable beds and the peace and quiet was fantastic.
