This luxurious 3-bedroom house has breath-taking panoramic views of the Drakensberg. It is fully equipped and set on a 1000 ha private estate with walking, hiking and mountain bike trails (Cathkin Estates).
This private estate is the largest in the Drakensberg and is abundant with wildlife (Blesbuck, Reedbuck, Eland, Black Wildebeest, Mountain Reedbuck, Red Hartebeest and Zebra as well as a variety of birds).
The cottage is equipped with everything you may need to make this getaway truly magical, beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds with soft white linen to the chic lounge area with its cozy welcoming feel and a fire place to warm up next to on those chilly nights of the year.
This is the perfect place to breakaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Very nice self catering home with great views of the mountains. It’s set in a well managed secure estate within easy drive of local attractions. There are some nice hikes and mountain bike trails in Cathrin Estate.
Anita was a great host who communicated really well from start to finish. They were also really helpful when we had questions.
We would definitely stay again.
This house is in a stunning location with awesome views of the mountains. It has everything you would need during your stay absolutely everything has been thought of, and all spotlessly clean. The zebras, buck, guinea fowl and rabbits daily visits within easy sight of the house were so nice to see. We really enjoyed our stay and exploring the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.
