Very friendly, comfortable and clean. Also very convenient from N2 and secure covered parking.
We will stay here again
Our stay is always great, the dogs love the fact that they can run free in the enclosed yard, and the host is very accommodating
THANK YOU for a great stay, place is always neat and clean and well priced
Enjoyed our stay and will visit them again. Very friendly host and staff, felt like home away from home.
Thank you Adine and staff
Spes Bona will in future be our preferred lodge for an overnight stay in Colesberg . Absolute value for money and excellent hosts. The room was very comfortable and breakfast top class.
Friendly thoughtful hosts. Accommodation was really clean and more than enough for us.
Had the best stay. Lovely welcome. Central to all amenities. Beautiful and clean. This is a top notch guesthouse.
Adine and Serena went out of their way to accommodate my needs, including a late-night arrival and three boisterous Jack Russell Terriers. The spotlessly clean, comfortable room with TV, air conditioning and a well-stocked tea and coffee station was a very welcome end to a long day's drive. The guesthouse is conveniently situated close to the highway, very secure and a haven for someone travelling with dogs as they can run around the fully enclosed garden quite safely. I'd definitely recommend Spes Bona as an overnight destination on the long journey between the northern parts of the country and the Eastern Cape.
Covered parking and very secure. Rooms are wonderful and breakfast is incredible. I had a fantastic stay are there is shopping center / restaurants close to the Guesthouse.

Colesberg Reviews
We stayed at Colesberg for the night, while travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town. Staying at Little Farm, we enjoyed a light dinner and the most delicious slap chips, while enjoying the pet-friendly and child friend outdoor area.
Easy access from the highway
Beautiful surroundings
Well positioned between Gauteng and the Cape Coast
The beautiful accommodation and their cleanliness.
Colesberg the town has really gone down, rubbish everywhere, dirty and dusty. However as we stayed in the wonderful lodge outside of the town, we will overnight again in the area, as it is in the middle of Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Friendly people and just the right distance from Gauteng to take a break.
Spectacular view of animals and the mountains.
The roads are in great condition, we did not go into the town.
Just travelling through ....
