Woodcroft offers guests charming, historic thatched cottages situated on an 8-hectare smallholding on the Lions River, ideally located from which to explore the Midlands Meander and perfect for walks through the forest, swims in the river and lazy evenings by the fireside.
Guests have a choice of booking the lovely 2-sleeper rondawel or the 8-sleeper cottage. Good quality linen, towels, toilet paper, drinking water, firewood and pay-as-you-go-wireless internet is available.
The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a separate toilet and a kitchen. The main bedroom is a double en-suite with bath, the second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds with an inter-leading ‘pajama lounge’ with a single bed. An additional mattress can be provided. The rooms share a bathroom that is fitted with a shower and a toilet, and an additional guest bathroom with a toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster. The living area has a large dining table and lounge with a cosy fireplace. The enclosed patio has an indoor braai area, comfortable seating, table surrounded by views of the forest and valley.
The cosy, open-plan rondawel is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. The rondawel opens onto a patio overlooking the garden.
