Great stay - you're actually on the beach - doesn't look like it from the web pics. Also a great system of having an on-site but off-site take-away food and coffee bar. Comms with Frans were quickly responded to clear replies. Tracey on front desk was very kind and exceptionally helpful. Accommodation great -neat, clean and quaintly tasteful. will be back.
It was awesome with all the penguins around us. It's like a home away from home. Warm atmosphere , with everything you need right there and the restaurant is a bonus. Beautiful environment and warm rooms even when it was very cold and rainy outside.
Amazing, clean rooms. Friendly staff.
Very friendly staff, ideally located near Beach and excellent services. I recommend it and nobody will regret staying here.
I enjoyed a delightful stay at the Boulders. It was wonderful to see the penquins walking around from time to time. It is a lovely quiet spot and the view from the restaurant is beautiful.
This was my first time in Cape Town. After a few days staying in the Green Point area of Cape Town, I decided to "hang out" with the African Penguins and booked 7 days at the Boulder's Beach Lodge & Restaurant. The stay at the Lodge was the highlight of my trip to South Africa. After the first two nights going to Cape Town to party, I spent the rest of the time exploring Boulder's Beach area and nearby towns. Since the instant I arrived at the Lodge, I felt like home. The staff was very friendly, professional and courteous, from management to waiters to housekeeping. A had nice clean room with a great shower. The restaurant served great food. The dishes were well presented and they were delicious. My favorite dishes were the carpaccio, the kudu and the melba pudding. The lodge is located next to the African Penguin Colony so you could see penguins walking in the parking lot.
Next time I'm in Cape Town, I will be staying here again. It is worthy.

Simon's Town Reviews
The vibe...the view...the food
The beautiful view.
5 stars from me, amazing people, amazing view and such a small and intimate place!!!
LOVE SIMONSTOWN!
The buzz and quaintness.
The quaintness, cleanliness and lovely places to walk around.
It really is a must see town, there is a scratch patch with the most beautiful stones. Boulders beach is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the penguins and plenty of shops to browse, plus a very nice yacht club with plenty of spots to choose from to grab something to eat.
Everything is central.
The quiet tranquility :-)
The town itself is amazing, historical and quaint. The view of the bay and the beach were breathtaking.
