Jacobs Bay, situated midway between Vredenburg and Saldanha Bay, is an isolated, traditional Cape West Coast Village. Strict building restrictions in the town have preserved the breathtaking 2 kilometers of coastline, boasting 7 individual bays and lime washed houses against an azure blue sea.
Most of the roads are gravel roads which keeps traffic at snails pace which has resulted in a peaceful little resort town, ideal for a weekend getaway or relaxing holiday. Jacobs Bay is well known for its abundance of seafood and the magnificent display of wild flowers that transform the landscape of this West Coast paradise every year from late winter to spring. (July to September).
Jacobs Bay's seven individual bays are Kwaaibaai which is popular with surfers, Jacobs Bay, Smalbaai and Moerie se Baai which are great for launching boats from and Bamboesbaai and Toothrock are used for diving, fishing and cray-fishing.
For water sports enthusiasts, boating, fishing and diving are the main activities. For hikers there are coastal hiking trails and dune riding is a favorite with the more adventurous. For the less adventurous, Jacobs Bay is popular for whale watching and bird-lovers will be rewarded with an abundance of bird life found in this unspoiled resort town.

As always, Charl warmly meets and greet you on arrival. The apartments are stylish, always neat tidy and fresh smelling, equipped with the necessary basic utensils should you decide to cook/braai and eat. Overall, a lovely little gem to get away from the busy day to day activities and just put your feet up and relax. Will definitely visit Allview Apartments again.
What a lovely experience for myself, my partner and my two friends. We recently stayed for my birthday weekend and it couldn't have been more peaceful than I imagined. The house had all the amenities at your fingertips and the bed and couches are super comfortable! The perfect warmth was provided for such a cold weekend and a walk to the ocean was so refreshing and peaceful! Will definitely be back.

My family and I were warmly welcomed by Host Charl du Plessis on arrival. The unit is well appointed, comfortable and perfectly suited our requirements for the stay. My only regret is that we only spent one night at All View Holiday Apartments. I would no hesitation in recommending All View Holiday Apartments as a destination for a quiet, relaxing breakaway from the bustle of the city. We'll be back!

Baviana Beach lodge lived up to the splendor of the surrounding nature and the sea. The host Belinda, made us feel at home immediately with her friendliness and helpfulness. The added touch of a bottle of wine, chocolate, fruit and coupons for a free coffee latte at the nearby restaurant made our weekend xtra special. We are looking forward to visit this special guest house again for the fantastic view of waves crashing on the rocks from the lodge, and to get close by, also just a minute's walk away, as well as the lovely garden. Beautiful and comfortable setting!

Everybody is so friendly. We had coffee at the coffee shops, ate at restaurants. Johan from Togreyersvlei wedding venue took us to all the lovely places, the food and all the friendly people were amazing, thank you, we will be returning, again.
