Nestled on 4 hectares of unspoilt mountains n Broederstroom situated in the foothills of the Magaliesburg Mountains in the North West Province of South Africa.
Please note that Sparrowhawk lodge is a completely selfcatering establishment. All facility's, such as the kitchen, open plan entertainment area, with large tv, (no tv's in the room's) swimming pool, barbecue area's and open boma, are communal.
All 7 en-suite, open plan unit's have own entrances.
A minimum two night's stay is required, and single night reservation's will not be accommodated, unless for group booking's, and by special arrangement, at a minimum rate.
Rates are displayed at per person per night.
Sparrowhawk Lodge is the ideal getaway destination situated between Johannesburg, Pretoria and Rustenburg, and is a 'farm stay' lodge, where guest's arrive as strangers and leave as friend's!
Sparrowhawk Lodge offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Hartbeespoort Dam.
There is a large entertainment area that offers a big screen. If a break is required from the hustle and bustle, then the large decks overlooking the African bushveld is the ideal way to spend the evening. Watch the sun go down and listen to the crackling fireplaces which are scattered throughout the establishment.
Besides the nature trails that lead to world class views of the dam and surrounding areas, for the not so energetic there is also a large upper deck with a 270 degree view of the horizon that’s best viewed with a cocktail in hand!
Sparrowhawk Lodge is ideally suited for group booking's, such as family get together's, reunions, team building, and birthday celebrations.
*Music levels to be kept under control, especially between 10.00pm - 10.00am.
Ps*Management will not accommodate visitor's that misbehave when intoxicated.
We offer accommodation with stylish and luxurious rooms. The lodge has 7 ensuite rooms, all under a single structure, that have been individually decorated, with 1 queen sleeper in each room, with some family rooms that have additional bed's available and can sleep 14-22 guest's.
Unit no 2: one double bed, one single bed.(upstair's)
No 3: one double bed, one fold down bunk. (Upstair's)
No 4: one double bed. (Upstair's)
No 5: one double bed, two single bed's.
No 6: one double bed, two single bed's.
No 7: one double bed, two single bed's.
No 8: one double bed.
In a serene mountain setting, our rooms are both cosy and comfortable. Each room is individually styled, and offers an indigenous South African feel.
All our rooms are equipped with a mini bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities and a separate entrance.
Cold winter evenings can be spent in our communal lounge and bar area, with a warm fireplace and luxurious couches, where you can spend time with friends in a cosy setting or curled up with a favourite book and glass of wine.
Check in time: 2-00pm - 8-00pm.
Check out time: 10-00am.
Situated against the mountain side, only 1km of the main road, (R512) Traveller's and visitor's are advised to take due care on the rural dirt road, especially vehicle's with low ground clearance.
