Had to be in Gauteng for my son's U16 SA squash trials, so were in and out constantly, HOWEVER, once you walk into this B&B you don't really want to leave. Love it, and sooooooo spacious.
Great stay.

What a big surprise. We thought its a room then its nearly the whole house. So stylish and elegant, We were welcome without waiting for anything and very warmly. Such a quiet and safe place. Wish we could stay the whole week to enjoy everything that they offer. I will find any reason to stay there again. Thank you XX

49 on Cherry resonates with the 'home away from home' category in a much more homey type of way than you'd first expect when driving into the secure estate in Randburg. Its safe parking, beautiful suites, hospitable employees, fully furnished and functional spaces echo the amiable and kind hosts in every way. A quiet little nook in the hustle and bustle cranny of Johannesburg life serves as an amazing and relaxing break after a long day at work or even just a comfortable and cozy day in watching Netflix. Or if you'd like to make use of the outdoor swimming pool, trampoline, braai-area and a lush garden - you will not be lacking for things to do.

Worthwhile in every sense.

This place is breathtaking, we spent two wonderful nights and we can say this property is excellent value for money: beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable rooms, a wonderful garden to relax and easily accessible nearby shopping areas. Most importantly our host went above and beyond to help us and truly made us feel at home. Will definitely go back when in Johannesburg.

Gary and Lynne are outstanding hosts and we were so well looked after during our stay! We stayed in the Morello suite which was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The atmosphere was peaceful and we both slept exceptionally well. Well done for all the little extra touches. They go a long way.

A true sample of excellent hospitality!

Exceptional B&B of this class kept extremely clean and safe. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by Gary and Lynne. As for the B&B itself, from the kind, courteous, and friendly owners, to the meticulous and comfortable rooms with a very well equipped kitchen and tranquil common areas. My experience was incomparable.

Travelling alone I had a wonderful experience with the most scrumptious meals be it breakfast or supper! The breakfast was better than I remembered, with fresh fruit and cereals daily. Supper was a special request as Lynne and Gary was most welcomed to accommodate my request. The food was truly delicious, Lynne’s Butternut soup was divine! The best, however was the service, as this wonderful couple made me feel very welcomed and quite at home, genuinely interactive and attentive.

Thank you, again, for going just that little step extra for me.
