Dunning Country House offers affordable, luxury accommodation in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, on a working farm. Accommodation is self catering. The farm is situated close to Hilton, just 3 km from the N3, and a mere 20-minute drive from Pietermaritzburg.
Accommodation offered - luxury double or twin rooms, self catering rooms and one 3-bedroomed, self-catering cottage, two 2-bedroomed, self catering cottages and one 1-bedroomed, (open plan) self catering cottage.
Group bookings for groups of 10 or more guests are accommodated in the Eco Park Village that sleeps up to 120 guests.
Deluxe Double Rooms - 3 Bedrooms have aircon only.
Saddle Cottage - 3 Bedrooms have aircons.
Bull Cottage - only have 1 aircon in the lounge/dining room area.
Boho Cottage - both bedrooms have aircons.
Aloe Gardens - all rooms have aircons.
The country house is perfectly placed for guests to explore the Midlands Meander, take advantage of local art classes, or attend events such as the Midmar Mile, Comrades Marathon, Hilton Arts Festival, Art in the Park, Duzi Canoe Marathon, or The Royal Show.
Breakfast available at an additional fee of R115.00 per person for adults and R58.00 per person for children up and to the age of 12 years.
Dinner can be arranged.

Lovely peaceful area
Black Olive for lunch on Sunday.
Unfortunately with the hard lockdown we were unable to try restaurants and pubs. So I would like to reserve my comments for a later stage.
Still want to go to the Howick Falls, Midmar Dam and the Mooirivier Mideor. Need to spend more time in Howick.
Just travelled through, really.
View the falls and eat at the various restaurants in the town. Food was excellent.
Howick is very limited in what it offers... best to drive out to spots in the surrounding Midlands areas...
Midmar dam, Nelson Mandela capture site, stunning restaurants and shops.
Pleasant little country village to stop in and see the Howick falls.
We enjoyed our lunch at the Farmer's Daughter restaurant... dog friendly too.
