Welcome to Troutmere Accommodation,
The accommodation is provided in a large double-storey, set on the bank of a beautiful dam, with views of the dam and wetlands of Lakensvlei. The lodge has four en-suite bedrooms each with a fireplace and views of the wetlands.
The downstairs level has an open-plan living area and two en-suite bedrooms. The upstairs area has two en-suite bedrooms and a TV area on the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a double door fridge-freezer, microwave and all cutlery and crockery. This open-plan area is warmed by an indoor fireplace for those cold winter nights. The living area leads out onto a large wooden deck with braai facilities, facing the dam.
Bookings require a R500 breakages deposit.

It was a wet 4 day visit and the fireplaces were very welcome ... the views were amazing and the house was well equipped.
Breathtakingly beautiful place, every modern convenience whilst being totally remote and peaceful. We absolutely loved our weekend, and are already planning our next visit. Five out of five stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We had a fantastic, relaxing family weekend! The house is well equipped and we had everything we needed. The quietness and seclusion is something to treasure. We will be back and hopefully then we will catch those promised trouts.
Troutmere is an absolute gem within a hop, skip and jump from Pretoria! We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and Maggie was a superb host. Thanks for making us feel welcome - we’ll definitely come and visit again 😀
