Mike, the owner went out of his way to help. We wanted to watch tennis and our TV wasn't equip to do so, not a problem for Mike he unlocked another room and allowed us to use that TV. His Breakfast was outstanding.
Lovely establishment. Beautiful and relaxed setting. Wonderful, friendly hosts.
Late afternoon arrival, one-night stay with excellent pizza for dinner and very good breakfast. Comfortable, clean room, well-lit for evening reading, quiet.
Very welcoming surroundings and beautiful birdlife. Will definitely recommend this establishment and host, Mike, was very accommodating and cottages well kept and neat.
We had a lovely stay for one overnight. Very friendly hosts. Rene made for us the best pizza we ever had! The breakfast was outstanding. We felt very spoiled. Thank you Rene and Mike!!!
Delightful stop over on route from Cape Town to Kenton.
Warm welcome from Mike & René.....lovely hosts. The Garden Room was perfect for myself & my 2 little fluff kids that were accepted as part of the resident fluff family! The breakfasts were absolutely superb!
We loved everything about this accommodation and their website was excellent to use and very easy to book.
Early booking via the internet was easy; paid a deposit for the first night by CC. Easy to find just minutess off the N2. Had a choice of the accomodation with Mike & Harja - the cottage was well appointed & self contained. Every detail had been thought of and we were made to feel very welcome. The security was good.
From its location in Google Maps, we suspected the Old Trading Post could be the ideal situation to discover the Garden Route.
After our stay we are absolutely seduced by the exceptional serenity of the place... and the extreme kindness and attention of Harja and Mike.
Don't look further! This is the place where you'll feel better than at home.
