Always a pleasure to stay in one of your cottages 🌻
A beautiful setting, lovely cottage, well equipped and stylishly furnished.
Saronsberg.... our most favorite place to stay!
Staying at Saronsberg was a very enjoyable experience. The cottage was well equipped for self catering and we especially enjoyed the farm atmosphere and the beautiful setting. This location was ideally suited to explore Tulbagh, Wolseley, Ceres and the Matroosberg area. Highly recommended.
100% Groot bederf.
Saronsberg was very nice.
Breathtaking scenery, very comfortable accommodation, super friendly staff, stunning art gallery. So much to see in the area of Tulbagh, a little gem.
The venue is beautiful. Well maintained and exceptionally comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Accommodation is comfortable and well resourced. Space between cottages is also comfortable as it allows for privacy. Only limitation we experienced was that 1 of the beds were very soft and felt like it requires replacement. Other than that, everything was exceptional. It's a place we would like to visit annually for complete relaxation. Thank you.
Everyone on the farm was warm and friendly and we were made to feel so welcome and at home. The fresh bread and tarts daily were an amazing little extra!

Our second visit and certainly not the last. So much to do and see!
Scenery
Wine, scenery, sunset
Beautiful, historic and quaint little town. Stroll down church street and have a roosterkoek at Kole & Deeg. Highly recommend the Gin Yard at Vindoux wine farm. The Spar gets ridiculously busy on long weekends so rather come prepared unless you want to stand in line for 30 mins. The Tulbagh Nursery is awesome if you’re into gardening and plants. And take the Bain’s Kloof pass if you want a beautiful scenic route!
The quaint town, the beautiful scenery, the olive tasting.
Everything!
Wine, the history side.
We found Tulbagh to be close enough to Cape Town for a quick weekend away with family & friends.
Clean town with stunning wine farms, wine tasting and lovely restaurants.
Very picturesque with great hiking, mountain biking trails.
Lots of convenient shops in the town.
Can't wait for our next visit.
We loved our Sunday lunch at Tulbagh Hotel and Champagne tasting at Krone.
We went to Essere lodge for a weekend and loved it! Have done many wine tastings at the surrounding farms, love going there often.
