If you have been dreaming of a special breakaway and you want a real bush experience, our 3000 hectare game farm in the most untainted area is the answer. Nestled deep in the heart of the Waterberg Biosphere you will find a huge variety of fauna, flora, rivers and springs. An abundance of bird life and game can be seen. You are in nearest contact to nature.
The very cosy bush lodge is fully equipped for all your needs and is available as a self catering option. You can spend your time in total privacy as we book in only one group at a time. The lodge is built in a circle, focusing a 1500 years old fig tree. If you are lucky, you can hear the jackals in the evening. The bush lodge is built with nature stones and has got thatched roofs.
Each chalet has got two beds and an en suit bathroom. The chalets are nicely furnished and there is electricity. We provide towels, linen, and fire wood. There is a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, etc. as well as a barbecue place. Small pets are allowed.
If you book the lodge the 3000 hectare is exclusively yours. The self-catering bush lodge is nine kilometers from the main lodge. You won`t find a destination which is more private and quiet. Please make sure, that you use a car with enough ground clearance.

What we had in Vaalwater was amazing! Things that everyone wanna see but my wish is to visit one of the best Lodges in our area which is "Tshwene lodge".
I definitely recommend it, we had so much fun and enjoyed the swimming, fishing and walks around the lodge. Its clean and beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to go back again.
My goodness! What a heavenly place! We booked Eagles Nest and it was everything as advertised and more. Gréât cycling and game driving. The view is just incredible from our beds. The house felt just like home - cosy, inviting, easy to live in. The night skies were magical. Sunrise and sunsets breath taking. Wonderful friendly staff. Thank you!!
