Welcome to Bayside Lodge,
There are 3 king or twin suites upstairs in the main house and a Cottage in the garden. Harmony with its own sitting room and a sofa bed, Honeysuckle has a spa bath and shower, and Sunkissed has two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom. Finch Cottage has a queen plus kitchen/sitting room with a sofa bed and its own patio and barbecue. Contact us direct for one night bookings and children requests.
Please note:
We do not accept children under 8 in the suites upstairs in the main house. We will accept children under 8 in Finch Cottage with prior arrangement.
We do not accept bookings from Matric Rage students
During Peak Season from about the 15 December into January the whole house can be let on a self-catering basis. Rate on application.

We have now arrived back home to England where it is wet & windy! We would both like to say a very big thank you for your kind hospitality.....we had a wonderful stay with you at Bayside Lodge, we loved every minute of it! We thought all the places you recommended us were great, especially Robberg......we we were there now! We had a good journey to Bukela Game Lodge, had a great time there and saw so many different animals so it was a brilliant way to finish off our wonderful experience in South Africa.
Jane and I recently stayed with you as part of our garden route tour. We just wanted to say thank you for putting us up in the cottage and for looking after us so well. We had such an amazing Christmas at the Bayside Lodge. Adrienne and Bernie couldn't be more helpful or welcoming. From the lovely breakfasts to the seats and surf boards we could take to the beach, they had thought of everything. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.

Everything about Bayside Lodge makes it a cut above the rest. The warmth and hospitality of Adrienne and Bernie (and little Daisy)make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. Hot towels and a cold drink greet you before being shown to your accommodation. Attention to detail is notable. The rooms are tastefully decorated and all have masses of natural light. We stayed in Finch Cottage overlooking the garden, a bird bath and feeders. It is a self contained unit with fully equipped kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and bathroom with a wonderful walk in shower. All rooms have a safe. The breakfast room has everything on display to cater for guests from different countries. There is also a cooked to perfection breakfast. The Lodge is set in pretty gardens and attracts many colourful birds. It has a swimming pool too. It is about three minutes walk to the beach and a short distance to town. All very safe, and parking is secure behind locked gates.
At breakfast Adrienne will enlighten you on the many things to see and do, and will make dinner reservations if required. In fact nothing is too much trouble for either Adrienne or Bernie. We stayed for five wonderful nights in November 2016 and can highly recommend Bayside Lodge. It is clean, comfortable, and truly value for money. Definitely No 1 on our list. Thank you both for making our stay with you so memorable.
Beautiful guesthouse. Our hosts, Adrienne and Bernard were most accommodating. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights for the Tour de Plett cycle tour. Would definitely stay there again and have already recommended to friends.
