Fleur du Soleil uses alternative backup, clean energy, sources and is not subject to any current South African loadshedding (rolling blackouts).
Configured over two levels to maximize space and freedom of movement, five sumptuous guest suites are centralized around the pool area. The simplistic layout creates easy flow from guest suites to any of the amenities. Each with its own unique interior design aesthetic and ambiance, Fleur du Soleil’s fully serviced suites are the definition of guest centric. Guests' every comfort and convenience are catered to with loving precision. Each suite with a distinct flavour sure to delight are veritable destinations rather than mere rooms.

For breakfast, fresh seasonal fruits and organic produce are hand-selected from neighbouring sustainable producers and farms. Freshly baked croissants are served daily, with mouthwatering handmade artisanal preserves. Just a three minute walk down the road and the heart of the bustling town of Franschhoek is revealed, itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Renowned for having some of South Africa’s top award-winning restaurants and a legendary wine culture, Franschhoek appeals to those with the most refined of palettes. It has a plethora of intriguing local curiosity and art shops, bars, a charming Sunday market and of course, some of the most famous wine farms in South Africa.
The Franschhoek area offers incredible outdoor recreation such as golfing, fly and trout fishing, horse riding, cycling, hiking and magnificent walks. After a day filled with sightseeing and activities, Fleur du Soleil is the perfect retreat for relaxing and watching the sunset within peaceful surroundings and luxurious rooms.
There are numerous day drives to some of the best wineries and wine estates in the world, as well as game reserves for a morning, day or afternoon safari. The Cape Peninsula, Table Mountain and many other attractions are within an hour from Fleur du Soleil.

It was a perfect location, walk-able distance to town. Beautiful property, very comfortable, clean and the host is very gracious and accommodating. Room is spacious and light and everything you need is there!!
What a wonderful place to stay as an introduction to South Africa. The accommodation is really comfortable and only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and bars of Franschhoek.
A wonderful location within easy walking distance of the wine tram (approximately 15 mins away) and local restaurants, shops and cafes. A beautiful garden and outdoor pool, safe off-street parking, and well-appointed room with en suite bathroom with separate shower and bath. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable, and there were some lovely touches (e.g., complimentary sherry, tea and coffee, an honesty bar, toiletries) and lots of information about local activities and attractions. Communication with our host was very good before our arrival and we had no difficulty locating the property.
Imagine you walk into the best hotel in the country...what would you expect for say a business floor room?....An exclusive private pool? Personal concierge? Comfortable lounge? Great breakfast? Peace and quiet? Beautiful setting? ... you'll find these and more here at half the price!!!... A true gem which won't disappoint!!
It was like being in a small piece of paradise. Such a warm atmosphere here. Clean room well decorated and such a comfortable bed.
A wonderful guest house. It’s a peaceful oasis of tranquility and we would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Franschhoek.

Always a pleasure to go to a beautiful, clean well-run town. You can walk the town & find great restaurants, interesting shops & even play boules.
The Wine Train for sure
So many wonderful places to eat including lovely outdoor courtyards with live music; lovely bespoke shops plus some necessities like Clicks; incredible world-class wine estates with wine tasting & pairing experiences and the wine tram; lovely accommodation well-tiered; safe to walk around. For an outstanding experience and meal I would recommend La Petite Colombe on Leeu estates.
