Gabrielshoek Country Escape offers self-catering accommodation in a cottage on the farm. It can accommodate six people and offers a secluded and private retreat for outdoor enthusiasts.
The cottage has two bedrooms and a loft area with ample sleeping space. The open-plan living room has a seating area with an open fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a mini stove and all cutlery and crockery. Guests can enjoy meals at the breakfast nook with bar stools.
We provide all bedding and towels, and there is a heater for winter. It has no TV but we provide a radio. Vodacom Cellphone reception are good and one can also pick-up on 4G connections, MTN and Cell C does not always work here.
Situated between two dams, the cottage has beautiful views of the surrounding grasslands. The farm boasts excellent fly fishing in three dams.
A maximum of 4 dogs are allowed with prior approval per booking. There is also an additional charge per dog per night, payable in cash upon arrival.

Wonderful stay with good fishing.
Host very friendly and accommodating.
We wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of city life for a long weekend. Our focus was to relax without the normal distractions that crowd out your time.
And that is exactly what Gabrielshoek offers you. A comfortable no-nonsense home away from home. We took our dogs with and to say the least it was therapeutic for us and them! They were allowed to just be dogs. To bark, roam the Veld and measure themselves up against the cattle. Our kids enjoyed the farm immensely and described it as their best recess yet! No one wanted to leave on Monday morning. Andre and his wife are truly exceptional hosts.
If you are wanting to get away from the city and are keen on enjoying a down-to-earth farm experience then this is the place for you.
