Welcome to La Bastide Guest house.
WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS TRAVEL, ESSENTIAL TRAVEL & SELF ISOLATION.
The accommodation was designed to cater to the varied needs of the visitors to our area. Many of our guests attend weddings at nearby venues (Leopard Lodge, Red Ivory and Green Leaves amongst others), so need a place to spend the night. Others are looking for a break from the city and want to absorb the fresh air, tranquility and beautiful surroundings. The abundance of exciting activities in our area also attracts those who would like to take a few days out for some fun with friends and family.
Please note: We are a venue which only provides accommodation . We are situated in a
residential area. We do not have the facilities for groups who wish to celebrate an
occasion or an event, or party etc.

A very peaceful atmosphere with lots of privacy. Thank you Zodwa for your hospitality.
The accommodation is very quant in a peaceful area, lovely large gardens, communal braai and bonfire area and a crystal dipping pool.
We enjoyed our stay there but would have been more comfortable if the rooms had air conditioning as Hartbeespoort is very hot and the fan provided was not really sufficient.
Fantastic venue. Thoroughly enjoyed the quaint out of city vibe the experience offered. Stunning views and central location conveyed a seamless, relaxing just what the doctor ordered staycation.
Clean, neat, cozy, inviting and I RECOMMEND a visit to anybody.

Beautiful setting, lovely room.
We enjoyed our stay at La Bastide. Very clean and cosy. Loved the bookshelf at Pecan Tree Cottage with books by some of my favourite authors🤩. It was just a pity I didnt have time to read. The staff were very friendly. The guesthouse is also very nicely situated to some amazing tourist attractions. Great weekend away.
The stay at LA astride was fantastic.. The place is nice and quiet!
