Home away from home. Birdsview Guest House is conveniently accessible from the main road (N12 / Nelson Mandela) of Potchefstroom, offering a relaxing, clean, tranquil and peaceful self-catering destination. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available on request . We are in close proximity to shopping centres, restaurants and the CBD of Potchefstroom.
The accommodation is ideal for short term stays like wedding groups or long term staying especially for professionals, students from school or university.We have 13 individual rooms with en-suite bathrooms which cater for different needs with queen, double or twin bed rooms, private entrances, 32 inch TVs with DStv, Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, a small kitchenettes with a two plate stoves (on request), electric frying pan (on request), fridges and microwaves, with a showers.
Two rooms has a bath and shower. Each room has linen, towels, tea and coffee-making facilities, cutlery and crockery. There is secure covered parking, space for long walks offering a wide variety of bird life, a large tranquil garden with braai facilities and a swimming pool. On the one side we have grassland that can be viewed from the first floor rooms and on another side the school sport fields with access that can accommodate some exercise needs. Family friendly: We have a safe pool area, a large play and running space, an enclosed play area and a jungle gym.
Romantic: For honeymoon couples we can offer a private room with great view, basket with goodies and champagne. Please enquire for further details.

We just loved the location. It felt like we were on a farm very close to the CBD. My child was even able to exercise on the sport field adjacent to the guesthouse. The host packed a very nice breakfast basket for us at a very decent price
Took out my girlfriend for Valentine's Day and the service there was perfect and superb. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Very clean I must say would even want to stay there for a lifetime. Its just amazing...Definitely going back soon.
Went there for our Valentine's get away. It was perfect. The service was on point and the people were very friendly. Its actually the best place to go to on special occasions and if you just want a place to relax. I would recommend it, it's truly the best.

Birdsview is clean, peaceful and spacious. The personnel were friendly and helpful. We had a braai at the swimming pool and loved the covered parking. We heard a variety of birds especially the Guinea fowl. We had value for money and will definitely go back.
