Lodge: Hairdryers, ceiling fans and electric blankets provided in two of the bedrooms. The master bedroom doors open out onto a wooden deck which overlooks Mavela Dam. En-suite bathroom.

Area Information:The naturally beautiful and relaxing Dargle Conservatory Area, which can be found in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, offers displays of nature that will captivate visitors and provide an escape from the rush of city living and make for a spectacular vacation. One of the gems situated within the Natal Midlands Meander, Dargle continues to enchant visitors from all over the world as well as locals who are lucky enough to live nearby. As you enjoy your holiday accommodation in Dargle, you can appreciate the presence of the majestic Inhlosane Mountain as she creates a stunning backdrop.
Property Facilities:Lodge: Free access to Mavela Dam from your own garden. Please bring your own fly fishing rods and equipment to fish for trout. A Sit On Top kayak is provided at no extra charge to paddle on the dam or to fish with.
Large lawn and garden area around the front, side and back of the unit which is fenced although the dam is open with no fence in front to spoil your view. There is a small stream running along the edge of the garden into the dam.
Cabin: has a small lawn area with outside braai. Kayak is provided.
Should you choose to swim in the dam, please bring swimming towels as they are not provided.
There are some scenic walks you can take on the farm.
The sheep can be seen going out to pasture at 7:30am and return in the afternoon for feeding time. Small farmyard animals (bunnies, chickens, guinea pigs and ducks) close to the Lodge for the younger kids to see.
Attractions:Pamper yourself with a massage located at Dargle Forest Lodge;
iNhlosane Mountain can be hiked in a morning, only a few minutes drive up the road;
The popular Midlands Meander routes;
The spectacular Howick Falls;

Such a wonderful stay my family & I had at Copperleigh. Such welcoming loving hosts along with beautiful views. Worth the visit, we definitely going to come back. The girls loved feeding the bunnies and touching the sheep. The other animals love to be fed as well.
Absolutely amazing. We all had a relaxing time and enjoyed the fishing. Caught 2 decent sized trout. The facilities are some of the best I've been to and the host really goes out of his way to make sure everything is taken care of.
Stunning view and beautiful cabin. Will definitely visit this little gem again.

What a little piece of heaven. Such a beautiful and serene setting. My husband loved the fishing, my daughter fell in love with the sheep and i got to do as little as possible. The cottage is well equipped and warm. We stayed for a week and went home refreshed.
Beautiful location and great hosts! The cabin is well equipped, tastefully decorated and very clean. Lots of lovely extras for the kids like toys, treats and dvds! Kids loved all the animals. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and tranquil setting. We will definitely be back.
