The Cycad, the hotel's main dining area is enhanced by several features - the counter hand-crafted by the 1820 Settlers, fireplaces & French doors leading to the pool where alfresco dining may be enjoyed on balmy summer nights.

Woodifields Bar, named after the engineer of the Zuurberg Pass, is one of the few remaining genuine English pubs in the country, where refreshments can be enjoyed in a relaxing atmosphere.

Hotel Leisure Facilities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, kiddies playground area, pool table, game drives, hiking trails, bird watching and horse trails.

Meals - Guests can be expected to enjoy a leisurely country breakfast and during the day the Terrace menu is available for light snacks. Zuurberg Mountain Village offers a Classic 5 course Carvery or Table d'hôte. The Zuurberg Mountain Villages Traditional Sunday Carvery is legendary. Guests still travel from afar to celebrate this gourmet experience.

Attractions:

Horse riding: trails are offered in the Zuurberg section of the Addo Park only 500 meters from the Hotel. Enjoy a 1 hour, 3 hour or 5 hour trail; both beginners and experienced riders are both welcome.
The Wilderness: Trail is a full day 4x4 trail through the remote areas of the Addo Park. This trail offers spectacular "untouched" scenery as you go through 5 biomes. A must for someone that enjoys awesome views and has a keen sense for 4x4 adventures.
Amakhala Game Reserve: is located 90 minutes from the Hotel. Day visitors are offered a big-five game experience. The program is an afternoon/evening program including a game drive through the reserve, a river cruise on the bushman's river with cheese and wine and a 3 course Boma dinner.
Schotia Safaris: is approximately 1 hour from the Hotel and offers a great experience, which includes 2 game drives in open game viewers on the reserve and a tasty Boma dinner. If lion sightings are on the top of your list, then Schotia Safaris is a must.
Zuurberg’s Guided walking trails: are done by qualified guides and usually last for two hours followed by refreshments. During the walk you are likely to see an assortment of antelope, zebra and wildebeests.
