Kalahari Guest House & Farmstall is located 50 km outside of Upington on the R360. The main road to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park on a farm. I do have camping, guesthouse and bushcamp accommodation.
AA highly recommended, our luxurious guest house is an oasis of tranquility ensuring you an unforgettable stay. In contrast with a night in the city, here you can sleep with the doors wide open and wake to the calls of the many bird species drawn to the Kalahari landscape.
Experience true bush living in our bush camps and the beauty of the Kalahari when you organise a safari with Paul, proprietor of the farm. Or engage with Riana, your friendly hostess, who provides many of the delicacies that you'll find at the farmstall - where you can relish a glass of chilled ginger beer and sample an array of biltong. You'll also find Kalahari certified natural lamb chops and boerewors and interesting curios. Don't miss out, as currently this is the only farm stall on the road (R360) from Upington to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Baie goed deur Riana ontvang. Tent heerlik toegerus met alles wat ons benodig het. Baie aangename ervaring
Hi we had such a lovely stay and was special to see the kudu feeding close to the tent when we arrived. Perfect stop on our way to Kgalagadi park. And if you are a fan of biltong and droewors be sure to buy some padkos at the padstal - we stopped for more on our way back from the park :-)
In our recent trip to the Kalagadi Transfrontier National Park we stayed at Kalahari guest house, the first time camping on the edge of the beautiful pan, and the second time staying in one of the bush camps. The campsite has a clean and neat ablution block, plus a well-laid out kitchen area. The pan was very full of water, surrounded by lush green grass, with plenty of bird-life and a stunning sunset, very calm and peaceful. On leaving the Park we chose to stay in one of the bush camps as we needed a very early start the next morning. The room is delightful, with a comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, verandah with chairs, outside cooking area with gas cooker, table and chairs, and is well-equipped for self-catering. Every last detail seemed to have been considered. Riana went out of her way to accommodate our needs, and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. And on top of this, it was extremely reasonably priced. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Kalahari guest lodge as a wonderful place to stay, particularly on route to the Park.
Excellent place to stay on the way to or from Kgalagadi. Very comfortable and clean. Staff are very friendly.

Great weather. Stayed at Modern Executive Apartment in Schröder street. Beautiful, peaceful and safe place. I enjoyed the friendly people of Upington and the nice restaurants. Mr D also delivered promptly. Will be back again.
Has everything you'd need to top up or get on your way to Namibia, Botswana, or the far west coast. Amazing stat-over options, and amazing people.

Great mall and friendly people in Upington.
Upington is one of my favorite towns in South Africa. It is pristine, clean, people are friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do. Plenty accommodation to choose from. A perfect stop-over to and from Namibia.
Good to visit my birth town and see the growth.
