At its center is the bustling harbour - a great place for a stroll, buying the catch of the day for an evening braai/BBQ, or heading off on one of the many boat trips, game fishing, sunset cruises or a trip to seal island. Relax on the beach, or for the more energetic try one of the many watersports on offer such as canoeing, kayaking and surfing. Take a trip along Chapmans Peak Drive, regarded as one of the worlds most scenic drives. For nature lovers maybe follow one of the many hiking trails, go horse riding, whale watching if the season is right, or pop into the World of Birds. The township tour at Imizamu Yethu will give you a fascinating insight into township life and the warmth of the people. The first time we stayed at the Tarragon was in 2007 for our honeymoon, we went back when our daughter was 2years old and recently with our daughter(8)& our 6month old boy
The Tarragon is always perfect for our needs( with/without kids). Mark and the team are accommodating and simply amazing. Whenever we are in Cape Town, we donβt think twice about staying anywhere else but The Tarragon
Every thing was perfect. Very good welcoming. Perfect rooms and bathroom. Exceptional Breakfast. The garden is beautiful with a nice view on the sea. The place is safe and very calm. The swimming pool is good too.

Hout Bay Reviews
Beautiful place
Vibrant night life. Big variety of restaurants and food. Clean beaches and market has a big variety of items. Great way te spend a summers day. Packing is limited though so getting there early is key.
We had a wonderful time e.g. at the market.
Beaches, restaurants, friendly people.
The views, everything.
We have always loved Hout Bay.
I love everything about Hout Bay and about. The hosts are very welcoming and the presentation of everything was up to standard. The breakfast is delicious πππ
We have always loved Hout Bay. Scenic, peaceful, lovely eateries and shops.
A secluded little town with tranquil seas, a place to reflect and be close to all amenities needed.
Lovely beach and restaurants near by, surrounded by scenic mountains.
The views!
