Area Information:Only 90 minutes' from Cape Town, the Witzenberg Valley is a huge basin lying in amongst four mountain ranges. To the west is the Nuwekloof Pass and the valleys stretching from Tulbagh to Wolseley, including Ceres and the area up the Gydo, Theronsberg and Swaarmoed passes (Warm Bokkeveld).
During winter the surrounding mountains are peppered in snow and the valley is often known as Little Switzerland.
The farm offers a relaxing feeling for the individuals that need to get away from the city rush. There are three dams on the farm which can be used for fishing and swimming. For the little ones, arrangements can be made to help feed the farm animals which include goats, ostriches, geese and turkeys.

Reviews
Great venue, well equipped, nice for kids to play and well situated between Ceres and Tulbagh, close to the main road of Wolseley if you need any basic shopping done.
Very lovely unit with everything needed. Tranquil and quite farm environment. Enjoyed the one night, will be happy to spend more than one night there.
What a wonderful experience! peaceful, good accommodation, great braai area (with free wood) and wonderful animal interaction (great for kids).
Bring a golf club and balls to use the driving range.
It was a last Minute booking and I must admit we had the most enjoyable experience. My kids especially enjoyed seeing the farm animals around and my daughter especially did the daily run from the Chalet to see the Ostriches. I did a daily run around the farm and it was fantastic. I have already told Tienie. We will be back soon!
The gravel road to the guest lodge was in very good condition. The accommodation was neat and clean.
