The Abrahamskraal Guest Farm is set on a working sheep farm situated on the R353, 33 km from Prince Albert, 18 km from Leeu Gamka and only 10 km from the N1. This is the perfect place to stop-over when traveling between the north and the south or to stay longer, relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of the Karoo.
The farm offers luxury accommodation in three private, self-catering units. All the units are authentically furnished and guests can experience true Karoo hospitality while they relax on wide, cool verandahs with views of the Karoo landscapes. Each unit has its own fully equipped kitchen, and its own dining and living area with a fireplace. In addition, each unit has its own braai facilities.
The guest farm offers a rustic farm dam-style swimming pool, popular with kids. Guests can buy firewood on the farm. Meals can be provided but bookings are essential.

Reviews
Highly recommended. A peaceful retreat where you can renew your energy. Very spacious farmhouse, spotlessly clean with all necessary facilities. Beautifully furnished and has loads of character. For nature lovers, star gazers and those who love life in the slow lane. An authentic Karoo experience.
A brahamskraal exceeded all my expectations. It is an authentic Karoo experience worth the extra 33km other side of Prince Albert. The farmhouse is very spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. This is a peaceful place where one can restore one's energy, appreciate nature and gaze at the stars. The veranda's are inviting and the sunrise and sunset well worth capturing. Certainly a place to return to.

Galleries and restaurants.
Like visiting the past.
'n Absolute moet besoek juweel in die Karoo.
Great food, shops and Swartberg pass is a must-do.
Everything!
It is a beautiful little town with good coffee, G & T's ( best ever at the local hotel) and friendly people.
The main road setting, restuarants, fleemarket, musuem. Cleanliness, Friendly People.
Lovely little gem of a town. Lots of things to do, eateries and little shops and galleries to visit. At the base of the most spectacular mountain pass in all Africa.
The charm and character of this town impressed me. The Karoo gardens are beautiful and there are interesting local products for sale. I recommend the book shop in Marlene's home.
Peace and quiet; feeling of safety; good clean air. We attended a wonderful photographic course with Louis Botha.
