Such a lovely place!
Wonderful service and amazing place! Real value for money!
After a long days drive, it was such a pleasure to relax in a nice, clean place, friendly staff and good food. Thank you very much, we will be back
What a stunning place.
Great hospitality, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Aloe Grove for our family wedding. The rooms were okay and the fact that we could walk to our room after a good party really helped. Breakfast was good and service too. Boma braai was a treat.
We decided to try a new route from Durban to Plett and our stopover was at Queenstown so we chose Aloe Grove to spend the night.
We stayed in the stables which was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and best of all our dinner was served in our chalet which was a real farm serving with three vegetables and great lamb chops.
If I had to add a negative I would say that although it’s December it’s fairly cold in Queenstown at night so make sure you have a jersey handy.
We stayed here for two nights and it was very nice. We had an amazing braai at our cottage every night. The most amazing part of our stay was our game walk on the farm. The giraffes was very close and it felt amazing. Would be back.
We booked for 1 night but ended up staying for 3 for business that continued over. The beds are great. The service was exceptional from Michelle who accommodated us as we enquired late, arrived late and she still arranged for us to eat there as well. The only negative was the very low shower pressure so I couldn't wash my hair and on our first night it was windy and because the accommodation is thatch all and everything ended up on our bed turning it from white to brown.
we have stayed here every year for the queens/selborne derby day for possibly the last 7 years. what a wonderful atmosphere and michelle is a great hostess. we normally have a braai in the boma which is unbelievable but this year decided to dine inside. the food is as home cooked as you can imagine and as tasty as you would expect. great venue and the kids love it. i look forward to next year, keep it up.
