De Old Drift B&B units offer a variety of comfortable and spacious furnished rooms. All our rooms are tastefully furnished with close attention to detail. Enjoy the peace and quiet on your patio overlooking the garden and mountains with only the sounds of nature at your doorstep.
As you arrive, the welcoming aroma of lavender fills the air, and butterflies complement your arrival.
The Family unit is ideal for the larger family. It has 2 separate bedrooms a small lounge area, a bathroom with shower, a private patio and its own little rose garden. The perfect getaway, with enough open space where the kids can play right under your nose.
Our Thatched roof self-catering cottage is very private. Enjoy the views over the mountain on your private patio while preparing dinner over a relaxing fire. This unit has 2 separate bedrooms with an open-plan living area and a separate bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes both, a microwave, and a conventional oven, as well as all the other necessities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. (Sleeps 4 people)
Self-catering unit, decorated in warm colours and overlooking the lemon orchards, this open-plan unit caters for all and is easily accessible, fully equipped kitchenette, a separate bathroom with shower and complementing bath, as well as under covered braai area, make this unit the perfect self-catering getaway. (Sleeps 2 people, has a sleepers couch for children.)
Family Deluxe unit, this is a spacious family unit, that has one big bedroom with 4 beds and an en-suite bathroom, and an open plan living area with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. Lovely patio with braai area.
Garden Cottage, is our new open-plan self-catering unit, which has an en-suite bathroom. (shower only) A small kitchen area that's open plan with a bedroom. Undercover patio with braai area.

*We are about 15min drive from the Addo Elephant park. Greater Addo is essentially a conservation area. It has an incredible diversity of fauna and flora - from the arid Karoo basin in the north with its mainly succulent shrubs and endless plains, through grassland vegetation and valley bushveld to subtropical thicket.

So many things to do! Visited the Elephant Park and saw hundreds of elephants! The privacy and peacefulness was wonderful. My fisherman husband didn't miss his fishing rod at all! The hot tub was a bit hot with all of us.
The quad biking and river safari.
Addo elephants are an experience not to be missed.
I loved the safe roads and the animals, especially the elephants.I also liked the nice shop to buy memorabilia.I also stayed close by at Avoca and this was five star treatment.I loved the tranquility and good host Riaan.
What an amazing haven to unwind and relax. Everything is Eco friendly and the staff are living examples of this. All the food was organic and delicious. The rooms are clean and comfy, The natural pool was beautiful and the location is close to the Addo Elephant National Park. We would definitely come back! Thank you for our amazing stay🙏
Beautiful scenery and very peaceful.
The animals are not scared of the vehicles travelling near them. We experienced some real magic moments in Addo.
