The chalets are fully equipped for self-catering, each with twin or double beds in its own private bedroom, fold-out double sleeper couch in the living room, two single beds in the loft, open-plan kitchen and en-suite bathroom with either a shower or bath. Air-Conditioners and DSTV.
The Stable Rooms (standard double and family) are equipped with a Television, Air-conditioner and kitchenette. Each unit features a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Free WiFi and barbecue facilities available at the rooms.
Area Information:It has been said the Karoo is not so much a place as a feeling. When you come to the Karoo, it captures your soul and actually flees with it, and by the time your visit is over you realize that it has taken over. With clean air and the beautiful sunsets you will not even want to go back to where you came from. It leaves footprints in your memory and plays with your senses. With this town being the oldest in the Central Karoo, you will be able to hear many interesting stories about the Anglo-Boer War that took place through this majestic landscape. Professor Chris Barnard the famous heart surgeon is honoured in three historic buildings, all national monuments, which make up Beaufort West's museums. All gifts, awards and presentations made to Chris Barnard are on display in the old town hall, which was built shortly after Beaufort West was proclaimed South Africa's first municipality in 1837. It too is now part of the museum.
Property Facilities:Each chalet has its own private barbecue (braai) area and parking. Children's play area, swimming pool, 17ha Stolsriver Dam, Television room, Restaurant that serves only breakfast, a shop that sell Karoo braai packs, pre-packed Karoo Lamb, braai wood, salads, cold wine and beer etc.

Good half way stop between Bloem and Cape Town. Full Karoo experience, braai packs, salad and braaibroodjies on site.
My son and I were travelling from Cape Town to Gariep Dam in the Free State for a family occasion. We decided to break the drive there and back at Teri Lemveli. It turned out to be a great decision. It was extremely cold, and snowing on the surrounding mountains, so it was a huge plus to find electric blankets and a warming air-con. Breakfast was amazing too. I really give Teri Lemveli 10 out of 10. Friendly staff, extremely comfortable accommodation and excellent location 15kms before Beaufort West. Oh, I forgot to mention that we saw 2 giraffes, 4 Sable, numerous springbok, right outside out chalet.

Being able to experience peace and tranquility.
We upgraded for a reasonable fee from the rooms to a self catering chalet, as the chalets have DSTV. The chalet was very comfortable and it was equipped with everything we needed. The shop on the premises was stock with meat packs, salads and other groceries for the braai at the chalet. The lodge manager was very helpful and friendly. We were able to watch the semi final of the FIFA WC and the quarterfinal of Wimbeldon tennis. Beautiful surroundings with immaculate sunset and sunrise.
The location was amazing - in the heart of the Karoo, just beautiful.
Such a friendly welcome. Such a stunning setting. Loved the accommodation. Perfect spot to break a trip or to take in the breathtaking Karoo. Best karoo lamb braai ever.
